Wait, our two-ways are now Gueye, Nowell, Carton and Jontay? Did Nowell get waived or is Jontay getting full nba contract?

Nowell, Carton, Gueye...

Did Porter get bumped to a standard contract?

I can't see Boucher being on this team next year. Between the presence of Porter and Gueye and Darko's refusal to play him

I'm not sure why they made this choice. I guess they wanted more wing size/depth?
I'm guessing Nowell is the odd man out now?

They already tried to move him this TD, but didn't get enough/had to take on too much to move him along. I also suspect he's gone this offseason even if it's just a cap clearing move with nothing coming back.

Nowell isn't going to be a NBA player he's just too small and not a good shooter.

Carton signed a second 10 day contract on Saturday. Nowell, Porter, and now Gueye are in the two way spots.

No, the Saturday announcement and post from Raptors social media was that Carton signed a two-way contract. It's already been discussed in Carton's main thread.

I can't see any team with cap room willing to take on his salary, though. I tend to think they'll package him with some kind of pick exchange or else try to keep him another year as trade ballast. You can't create any meaningful cap space without letting Brown go as well.

Not to happy about Porter getting a standard contract. Should be on a 2-way at most.

By replacement do you mean the tall guy who never plays? Hopefully Gueye gets a shot because I think there is some defensive potential there.

I have to think they gave him the two-way with the need for size. I felt bad for KO being forced into so many minutes.

Don't see how it matters much this year tbh

He's basing it off Granges speculation above, nothing has been announced

Thanks.

I like Porter and he has by far shown the most of any of the two-ways.

Last night he checked in for the first time in weeks and immedietely threw a great pass for an open 3. He has potential to be a very good offensive center as a hub type guy IMO. Poellt/Olynyk/Porter is by far the best playmaking center rotation (well, outside Jokic).
