Still very unclear to me why the Sixers just gave us Pat Bev. Thanks though

Ok, some cold water. Superman’s Achilles didn’t look good. He was in pain during warm up’s tonight. Hopefully the trainers make him sit a long time, until all the pain is gone.

It feels like they know that Embiid isn't going to be back.

That was one of those special games where I’m now laying in bed and my wife and three month old are already asleep in the room and I’m just wired and can’t sleep and refresh this thread every few minutes.

Dude is solid and impacts us in like a ..... ummmm he like has an edge, an attitude.. it's like idk how to explain it but it's stronger because he backs up his words on both ends. He's rare.. he accepts his role and encourages the stars to be themselves while being a role model for the other role players AND STARS. And it's not just yelling.. it's encouraging too.. I mean I'm sure he can rub people the wrong way if we start losing but that's kind of good.. it's urgency ... it was SO needed and refreshing on this team. Plus he's a Doc guy so he's a coach on the floor along with helping the coach's culture message too.. Doc brought a lot of help with him

Yeah, Achilles tendonitis is nothing to mess around with. It can be annoyingly painful at times.

Unretire Kareem's #33 so that AJ Green can wear it in honor of the original Larry Bird.

Yeah I wasn't concerned until I saw that video. Keep him out as long as it needs.

Right, it was cryptic because Bev said... 'I was playing too well' --- maybe meaning his value was UP and they weren't going to afford him next yr so get something for him (since the year is likely lost they became sellers.) If he was playing bad there would be no value to be gained and easier to afford him back. Like us with Beas and if Giannis was in Embiid's situation b4 the deadline. The Sixers also probably doubt we can keep him too so they think they fleeced US for a 2 month rental

If it's anything like the achilles tendonitis i had when playing, it just came down to pain management. I couldn't do any real damage to it beyond imflaming it more. It was just about managing it until it improved.

My honest thought was they knew something we didn't and they were screwing us over somehow.
