Re: 2024 Draft Prospects
I Do I'd take him over everyone I just think we need the number 1 pick to do it. I don't think the nba is gonna gift us that pick. But for sure with the 1 or even 2 pick if sarr went 1, I'd take risacher and be smiling ear to ear. Thinking yes, we got our 2 wings we need in this league to make waves.

Thanks for the heads up on him. I could have sworn I posted him a year ago. I have seen him play quite a few times when I used to watch Harvard games. I am a big fan. Sometimes when searching for old post they don't come up.. I even posted about Austin Reeves but it doesn't come up in the search but I will add Xaivian again thanks man.

Re: 2024 Draft Prospects
I want to pair the best shooters with length with Lamelo, Miller, Mark. So Risacher is the guy I want right now but I would be happy with Sarr if we have a top 3-5 pick.
Also, wouldn't this be the perfect year for NBA to gift us #1 when there is no consensus guy and its the "weakest draft in over a decade"?

Agree with your sentiment. Also, we have the new owner clause in rigging the lotto, so I like our chances.

I don't want to be petty, but seeing that castle plays for Uconn makes him a pass for me lol can we just stop with the Uconn players

i've never seem him play. i watch 0.00% of college basketball last 10 years. my comment was 100% being related to UCONN. I've had enough of UCONN players on this team.

Re: 2024 Draft Prospects
I know he gets buckets but why is Dillingham in the top 3? What am I missing here? Sure hope the new FO doesn't buy into his hype. My worst-case scenario.

If we somehow go guard im thinking it's because we fell back in the draft. No way we take any guard if we get a top 5 pick. Pretty sure wings and Sarr will most likely be our choices.

We're going to take best player available unless it's a pure point guard.

Re: 2024 Draft Prospects
I still like the idea of putting 6'8 19 yo wing Cody Williams on the floor with LaMelo and Brando
he's averaging 13.7 points on 20.6 percent usage with a 65.8 true shooting percentage, a tribute to his efficiency capitalizing in transition, hitting spot-up threes and finishing drives/cuts within the flow of Colorado's offense.

That’s what I want too. I also think we should look at Reed and Sarr. Both are very good insurance we’re we need it. Reed is just so good. Even with our recent vet additions, Reed is gonna end up as a star in the league. But if Williams is there I’ll be mad if he’s not the pick. His max upside might be the highest in the draft. I understand Sarr if there is long term doubts about Williams, but I think there is bust potential there.

He is a microwave scorer who is shooting 44% from 3. He can rattle off 15 pts in a 5 min stretch.
He is polarizing though because he is very small and not really a true pg. Similar to Monk over again, if he can move to PG full time I think he is a great pick but if you are using a 6-2 180 lb SG you are in trouble.

There is also a possibility we could look to trade that pick especially if we don't see a fit with Melo/Miller.

Draft the player who can shoot a basketball.

We say this but we also have a high demand for defensive players.

Re: 2024 Draft Prospects
Outside of a few guards the shooting talent in this draft is really mediocre. Tyler Smith, Johnny Furphy, and Tidjane Salaun are the only guys with size with good shooting splits. Risacher's poor free throw percentage is a red flag imo, especially for a guy being heralded as a 3&D sure thing.
