I'm confident that with Mavs best defense since the trade and Kidd's brilliance this will be an easy win!! And let's hope Timmy plays 40 mins so that he can get back to form and starts playing like Jordan again.

No problem, if he doesn't make shoots he is a great defender... Or not?

Lol yeah apparently he thinks that.
But let's look at the overall logic here and tell me if you agree.
Kidd managed to transform an improved roster on two positions they were heavily weak before the trade, from like 22nd best defense to absolute worst (by a margin) since the trade. That actually takes special kind of skill.
Then he has Hardy buried deep on the bench, a much younger player on a rookie scale contract who needs development, just so that he can get his other "star" guy back to form. And irony is, that "star" guy FO couldn't trade for 2 and a half seasons now. On top of that, dad from this "star" player is constantly **** on Mavs actual franchise player behind the scenes.

Yes, Kidd is absolutely a superstar when a team has to underperform. His career spokes for him.
And i start to think that Tim Sr. is a cancer just like Rick Brunson, i like THJ as a microwave from the bench but if the package includes his father then dump him ASAP.
Too much people talking about Mavs and a few of them really want the good for the team.

If Myles Turner doesn't turn into Aldridge-Dirk hybrid then we have a good chance to win.
Kidd needs to stick with a defensive lineup. This team needs consistent defense to get respect from the refs and not get easy foul calls. We need good defense to exhaust the opposing players. Do not give them a confidence. Pacers team is one of those teams if you let them open layups, 3s and those players become mini microwaves.
Injured THJ season we made to the WCF. Eye-test wise some people may think he is decent and Kyrie is good. The W/L column says the opposite. These players create too much defense/rebounding issues. Do not use them together. Less minutes for THJ should be a no brainer at this point.

Refs looking shady out there. Just saying. Both ways. No homer.

Agree...Luka and Kyrie should Play with Green/DJJ ,PJ and Lively/Gafford/Maxi depending on the how they're playing...THJ should Play with one of them or the second unit, with Exum leading the Play

And then subbs out DJJ for no apparent reason and leaves THJ in. Maxi and THJ give you nothing on offense and THJ gives you even less on defense ffs..

Re: RS 23/24 - Mavs vs Pacers (830PMEST)
Kyrie is a little aloof on defense and it's probably because he's doubting the guys he's holding. This is something Kidd needs to hold him accountable. Worry about your own man.
Aside from that, I think adding these new pieces has kinds made this team discombobulated some what. I think it's why guys are struggling. They need to have a players only meeting, imo. They need to clear some things up.

Yep. Defensive intensity completely changed with PJ and DJJ on the floor and no THJ. But Maxi is not good at center, Kidd doesn't understand that.

I hate that call Siakam just got. Why call that and not give it to Luka on the other hand? With that being said, if Washington keeps playing like this he's gonna make me a believer.

He wasn't good at PF either...I mean,if it's not his day ,bench him...in the offseason they need to find a PF that will be able to come of the bench...PJ is basicaly the sole PF on the team...Morris is unplayable and Maxi really struggles on PF
