you should trade that 1 bitcoin for $Link, within 5 years you'll be living like a king.

I've heard of that one. People seem to like it. Maybe I'll throw a G into it.

I did well on Link. I didn't sell at it's peak but cashed out before it crashed in 2021.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

$OCEA is being short squeezed right now, up like 500%. I managed to make a little bit off it, dipping my toes in again because why not. Will probably lose it all.

Thought CRWD might dip a tad before earnings but not like this. Yikes. Definitely due for an overall market correction given how nuts it has been, especially the NASDAQ.

I have bought way too much JASMY. It’s been a good investment. Anyone else messing around with JASMY?

I actually have a good amount from 3 years ago. Nice to get back 25% of my investment randomly, needed to get out when it was over a quarter

I'm definitely buying this week

ETA, I see crypto is down big too, I have very little in it and won't be adding more. But for stocks big corrections always eventually happen. The difference now is cash is earning 5+% so I'll still keep a big chunk there while moving some of it into equities. I never, ever panic sell.

Same here. Tomorrow looks to be a good buying opportunity.

Don't want to catch the falling knife though.

Pointless to try to time the market. I've sold nothing and have a set amount to put back into the market this week. 20% each day. Not a large amount, I'm pretty happy with what I'm getting on cash right now.

A phrase that seems to have diminished in currency (adopt the language of what ever thread you are in is best practices.imo) is "buy the dip."

Anyone buying Intel? They **** up horribly, but it seems like a good time to buy. I just bought 100 shares and will buy more if they drop even more in the next month or so. This seems like an obvious stock market freak out.

Edit: I just talked myself into buying 500 more after posting this. The stock reaction has been idiotic.

2 weeks ago there was a lot of panic selling. And some astute buying. There will be lots of bad days/weeks/months ahead. Lots. It's more of a challenge for retirees who are no longer putting money in. Especially once you hit RMD age. But otherwise just stay the course.

S&P, Dow, Russell, and NASDAQ all up roughly 10% since these posts on August 4th/5th

I just took some gains here.
