Terry Rozier starting to find his groove.
Last 4 since returning from injury:
17.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 5.8apg on 45.4% FG in 32.0mpg. Still needs to find his three ball and improve his catch and shoot game, but hopefully that comes over the coming 20 games as we lead into the playoffs. The 3/6 tonight was a good start.

Cavs really made themselves comfortable with their last win. Everyone else neck to neck.

He has a player opt in that he will most likely use.

With the news of J Rich going down it made all the sense to sign Patty. Delon is built like J Rich so he takes on his role. Spo can easily run two PG sets with Delon cause he can man up on the bigger guard.

I swear everytime Martin looks like ECF Martin he sprains his ankle or tweaks it.

Other notes:
18-6 when Duncan starts.
Games played: Herro 36, Beal 33. Those early season victory laps when Beal was injured backfired

Jaime slowly getting there too-- hate losing Rich, but at least Delon/Chatty Patty for emergency

I thought the same thing, then I looked at the minute distribution and saw the problem. There isn't any minutes left for him with Spo's current rotation, you cannot afford to take minutes from the other guys heading into the playoffs either.
Look at the minute distribution:
Starting:
PG - 32 Mins of 48 used (Terry Rozier) Minutes remaining: 16
SG - 36 Mins of 48 used (Duncan Robinson) Minutes remaining: 12
SF - 37 Mins of 48 used (Jimmy Butler) Minutes remaining: 11
PF - 21 Mins of 48 used (Nikola Jovic) Minutes remaining: 27
C - 35 Mins of 48 used (Bam Adebayo) Minutes remaining: 13
Center Minutes Played from Bench: 13 (Orlando R. 5 Mins - Thomas Bryant 8 Mins)
These will get returned to Kevin Love when he gets back from Injury.
That leaves a total of 66 Mins to distribute between (PG,SG,SF,PF bench Minutes)
Tyler Herro is not playing so when he returns he will get those 36 minutes that Duncan see's.
That Leaves, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr, Caleb Martin to use up the remaining minutes. That's 22 Mins each.
Spo is not giving any of our wings heading into the playoffs less than 20 minutes of game time. Even then it will prob look more to Duncan having more than every one else, also expect Jimmy/Bam/Herro to average 36 or less during the regular season.
In this specific game Highsmith got the remaining minutes since Herro is out and Duncan is starting.
There are no minutes available remaining for back up PG, unless its matchup specific and somebody is injured or not playing well.
Your not gonna cut those guys minutes preventing them from getting rythm heading into the playoffs just to give Wright 10-12 minutes.
Spo is already being kind of shifty with the starters by only giving Jovic 21-25 minutes game dependent as a starter in order to get the other wings specifically Duncan more minutes, if Jovic where to play starter level minutes, one of JJJ, or Caleb martin would be taking a significant minute restrictions.
Playoffs are 9 Man Rotation, what your seeing is what it will be on most games.
Rozier, Herro, Jimmy, Jovic, Bam + Duncan, Caleb, JJJ, Love
You can see Spo is comfortable with JJJ & Caleb bringing the ball up and Duncan playmaking during the minutes Jimmy is sitting and or Terry is off the court.
Right now: Delon Wright, Patty Mills, Haywood Highsmith, Orlando Robinson, Thomas Bryant are all matchup specific calls, injuries or foul trouble to the 9 man rotation. This is the time of the year Spo starts to tighten the rotation.

Spo freaked out, he didn't want to show his full hand before the playoffs. He came out and did too much

Maybe we can facilitate a sign and trade? or expand it and get something good back by including Duncan in there. Whoever it is would have to be a good 3 pt shooter though. But I'm probably just dreaming. He will leave and get nothing in return.

He’ll probably get a Strus like contract. Hope we can S&T and get a 2nd like we did with Strus too.
