I'm not going to concede an inferior position to them them until we play them fully healthy. Sure they are ..very very good, but in January so were we. Add in the additional seasoning of our bench unit and Mitch Robinson and we could be on equal ground.

I don't do so gleefully. The facts are the facts. They're winning by a differential of over 11 points per game. They're 29-3 at home. 48-13 overall. Beating playoff and hot teams by 50+ points. #3 in ppg. #4 in opponents ppg. #1 in rebounds. #2 in blocks. They dont foul. They commit the second fewest fouls in the league. They're #4 in 3pt percentage. #1 in offensive rating. #2 in defensive rating. #4 in turnover percentage. #2 in true shooting percentage and effective shooting percentage.

In summary, they are great shooters. They play a very clean game. They dominate the glass. They are ELITE, if not the best, at both ends of the floor. This isnt sucking up to them. They have proved it and the stats prove it.

To those that prefer the eye test, they are tall, long, fast and just as dominant.

AND, don't forget, this is a new roster. They are A LOT better now than they were in October. They are dominant in every sense of the word. As I mentioned previously, the only way to beat them is to disrupt their rhythm and run then off the 3pt line.

The regular season is the regular season. #1 seed Bucks lost to the 8th seed last year as did Boston. They still have to get it done in the playoffs

Jrue put them over the top though. I still maintain we should have traded for Jrue as opposed to letting them get him.

That Bucks team was very clearly flawed at shooting. This Boston team is not... and is more dominant. This is a very different Boston team than last year. They're dominant.

1 month vs an entire season is a very different thing. And, they're trending upwards. To not recognize their dominance is unobjective, and looking through orange and blue colored glasses.

Bostons differential in February was 122 to 106.6. They averaged a 15 point victory. In March, so far, its 127.3 to 101. It's just a different level of dominance than we have seen in quite some time.

The Knicks had a great January. There is no denying that. However, every other month was "meh" or "bad". Their differential in December and February were both NEGATIVE. Now, obviously the injuries are a huge thing. But, to think that we're going to get to 100% health, build rhythm&chemistry and catch up to a team of that caliber... it's wishful thinking. I hope it comes true but we are running out of time quickly. There is only a month left.

Mitch has trouble against stretch bigs like KP, though. But I see your point... also, dude has to fix his free throw shooting or teams won't let him stay on the floor in crunch time.

Boston is going to be a nightmare for everyone. Our only hope against them is to play very physical and run them off the 3pt line. No second chance opportunities. We have to play a clean game as well.. no turnovers or bad decision making. And then, we have to hit shots. There is zero margin for error.

Boston has built something very lethal and is a problem for every team in the NBA. To defend them, they have to have their timing thrown off, catch the ball in odd spots, and just generally, make them uncomfortable. Boston aside though, our defense looks good.

Against Boston, I wouldn’t have any of our centers guarding KP, when we had him, Boston put Marcus Smart on him and he shrunk more than his manhood in an ice bath. I would put Josh Hart on him and let Josh drive him crazy.
I can almost guarantee Josh would give him fits!

but in that scenario Randle needs to man up and guard Tatum and play small ball with Anunoby, Randle and Hart in the frontcourt! Brunson / Divo at guard… Deuce, Precious and Mitch the backups, Bojan and Hart under 10 mins
