Watching Pat Bev hyped up on the podcast had me hyped up all afternoon. They're definitely having fun.

His pod is one of the highlights of the season lately because he really is dropping some tidbits from practice that we'd never hear about otherwise.

I don't know exactly how the NBA injury reporting works, but it's probable that they are required to provide a medical diagnosis as to why a player is missing a game. He literally could have just had a really tight soleus/low calf that didn't respond in time. They would have scanned him. If it all comes back clear, he passes all his fitness tests, he's good to go.

The Achilles tendonitis could have just been a placeholder for the NBA.

Adamantium? Or the injury? If it's the latter I have 100% confidence in the staff. They are excellent.

my favorite part is when people pretend that there was ever some home run trade out there for him that we didn't do

Part of it may have to do with Khris always being injured during said winning streaks.

The Khris trade discourse will come back in the offseason when we have picks and expirings to trade.

Lol pretty good record without KM. Check Dames #s and %s without KM... I believe Doc can smooth this all out though.. we've come a long way!

I was meaning to get back to you yesterday, sorry, I forgot. Tendonitis is a bit of a dead term, there's no really clear inflammation a lot of the time. We use tendinopathy, represents degradation that occurs in these cases more.

If you google achilles tendinopathy, management is a bit different to old 'tendonitis'. Even Mayo clinic (not the best resource) suggests careful loading. They have 'rest' in there as part of RICE, but honestly it's relative rest from aggravating activities.

Look up the 'tendon disrepair model' in google images, that's closer to what we use now. The key is appropriate loading.

I agree with you to a point. But watching the videos of him warming up Monday night he was in some real pain. It didn't look good at all.

I just saw that video this afternoon. It was worry inducing.

Giannis got to get that pageant award?

Lol... nah hopefully it's what Jez said and they just had to call it something... This ankle stuff does seem to have lingered though hhhh. Also Giannis might be a bit superhuman so there's that.

Did Gallo have another dunk besides the putback one? I think Bev said 2. Anyone have a video?

Well he only made one basket last game so unless he's talking about something after the whistle or something no.

Except the video that I saw showed Giannis in pre-game shooting abruptly reach down towards his left lower leg and immediately head off the court.

I am actually really interested to see our new and improved defense under Doc go up against the Warrior's offense.

We seriously get Bob Myers as our analyst against the Warriors? Of course.

It's great having his insight. Marques Johnson's podcast as well. And Doc and Dames post games are great too.
