OKC is often depicted as a deep young team with several reasons behind their meteoric rise. But looking at the net ratings for their three most important players in comparison, I can't help but wonder: how reliant is OKC on SGA to be a very strong team at this point? Is he more/less/roughly as important to his team compared to the average MVP-level player on a HCA playoff team?

SGA ON, Chet ON: +10.6 (1306 minutes)
SGA ON, Chet OFF: +14.3 (726 minutes)
SGA OFF, Chet ON: +2.1 (503 minutes)

SGA ON, J-Dub ON: +11.5 (1119 minutes)
SGA ON, J-Dub OFF: +12.3 (915 minutes)
SGA OFF, J-Dub ON: -1.0 (608 minutes)

SGA ON, Chet OFF, J-Dub OFF: +12.3 (545 minutes)
SGA OFF, Chet ON, J-Dub ON: -2.6 (438 minutes)

(numbers do not yet include last night's game)

Tough luck Wolves fans. That probably marks the downward spiral of your season unfortunately. I did wanna see how they could've ended up though, were a very interesting team to say the least

Yes, they have actually been solid drafting in the Curry era.

Picks 28, 30, 28 and 28 they draft Looney, Poole, Evans and Damion Jones [Excellent value for the later picks].

Wiseman at 2 is a miss.

Kuminga at 7 is solid, Moody at 14 is meh but Podz at 19 and TJC at 57 is excellent value.

Dunleavey era off to an insane start in terms of drafting, not to mention getting out from under the Poole deal

Smart man.

I’ve made posts here about how disgusted I was with Ayton’s defense in the 21 Finals.

About how much of a blunt object Giannis was and is offensively and how a talented defense should not get bludgeoned by him.

Ayton had no defensive instincts and no idea at all of what he was doing guarding Giannis. And in that playoff run there was a much less athletic older PF in Griffin that contained him without help defense. Griffin turned out to be a really really good role player. If Harden was healthy he would’ve anchored the Nets D on the way to an easy title run.

Impact metrics are putting this SGA season at outlier level stuff for guards. Prime/Peak CP3/Curry/Harden kind of stuff. Blowing any Luka, Trae, Morant, Fox etc season out the water.

He’s why I’m confident OKC will have a deep playoff run.

He is saying if Harden had been healthy then Blake would have anchored the team defensively.

The only conference semifinals exit I have ever felt definitely would have otherwise won a title that year would be the 2007 Suns. Otherwise, too much to assume that two series wins are guaranteed.

Jokic is so good, even in a game with nobody being able to do anything offensively he shines. Truly a marvelous player, a joy to watch.

We have so many potential bigman duels for the playoffs this year: Jokic, Gobert/KAT, Davis, Sabonis and Chet in WC (a shame that Sengun likely won't make it) and Embiid, Bam, Bucks Twin Towers and even Porzingis in EC. Which ones are you hoping for the most?

Outside of an Embiid/Jokic duel because that seems unlikely I'd most like to see a Wolves/Nuggets rematch.

And that was a damn good slate of games last night, very enjoyable.

I'd love to see Jokic/Gobert though it's not what makes Gobert shine. Hopefully KAT will be back and healthy.

Gobert vs Jokic is also my wish, of course Embiid against WC bigs would be great, but it's highly unlikely.

Celtics versus the west are only 15-7. 33-7 against the east. Really shows just how weak the east is again.

Timberwolves versus the east are only 14-9. 30-10 against the west.

Cavs have a much better chance at making finals than people are saying...........Bucks defensive issues and when is Khris getting back?

Jayson inconsistent play, may not be him and not sold on Mazzulla as a coach

Cavs wing depth and shooting night and day from last season. How many cinderella 4th quarters have they had w/ Dean, Strus, Caris whoever going off

Mitchell has had playoff runs at a superstar level. Garland star offensive player. Jarett and Mobley star defensive players. Theyve been top 3 seed for months now...........were 2nd in Srs last season
