Looking forward to Kentucky vs Tennessee in a couple of hours. I want to see how Knecht plays against their length and quickness on the wing and size on the inside. He struggled the last time they faced off shooting only 5-14 from the field with 4 fouls.

So you agree he's a scoring/slashing wing at the NBA level

A lot of people are still talking about whether or not he can play PG but I think he's a scorer and his history suggests so, imagine having the audacity to jack up 11.6 3's per 36 in high school.

Yeah, I see him as more of a scorer/SG in the long run rather than playing full time PG

I'm not overly high on Sarr either, not so sure either Detroit/Washington take him #1. I guess that's why they say it's a weak draft.

In terms of the Culver comparison, I was on a b-ball hiatus for a few years and haven't followed the draft for like 8 years, so I don't even know who he is. But looking back at his scouting report and some highlights, it seems like Culver was pretty slow footed, didn't have a strong frame, had weak jumping ability and had a slow release on his jumper. Not sure if any of these are actual problems with Stephon. When I looked at Culver highlights, I don't see a single one where he's driving by his defender. On the other hand, Stephon is seemingly limited by his lack of perimeter shooting, defenders are going under screens and giving him space.

I think Sarr projects well on defense and that's the general consensus, while he's still raw even on the defensive end his mobility and instincts still allow him to make an impact as an 18 year old playing against men. Big men take time and I don't see anything too concerning about his overall makeup as a player for an 18 year old. I don't see someone who is a basketball genius but who should be able to get to a high enough level to take advantage of his frame and mobility in an impactful way in the NBA. I also think that while he won't be taking 16 shots a night for his team in his prime, he also won't be as limited on that end as many defense-oriented NBA centers are which should help him bring more value to the floor. He will need time to be able to man the center position in my mind, look at how Hansen Yang ragdolled him and imagine him going up against power NBA C's... I can't see him being overly effective against them neither as a defender nor rebounder for a while. I think out of the top guys Nikola Topic has the best feel for the game and that goes a long way for me.

That's going to be a great game seeing how Sheppardham fares against Tennessee's NBA-quality defense.

I don't know how people can dismiss this kind of footage and suggest that Cody Williams should be taken before him, it's actual lunacy. He has played better against his own age group than any other player and there's nothing holding him back from his game translating against grown men. This is not a guy who is going to lose his handle, body-control and finishing against NBA players.

Another thing I like about Topic is that he comes close to carrying the ball frequently but in a way that doesn't get called in the NBA yet provides the player doing it a big advantage when it comes to changing directions and speeds. Star players know how to cheat the system in the NBA 8-)

Knecht just missed a monster dunk attempt off a nice split drive. He's been impressive with zero help.

Knecht can play against NBA level talent. He’s the real deal.

Knecht wasn't shooting well early on when he was being doubled but gotta give him credit for being more aggressive this game. He really hates to lose. Even putting more effort on defense.

Knecht and Reeves are NBA players. Sheppard and Dillingham are still showing their inexperience.

Tennessee is so barren on offense when Zeigler sits that it's basically Knecht on 5 with Aidoo hoping for putbacks.

Wish 1 team would build a roster with one really good lottery talent and fill the rest with winning, hustling, team 1st 4 year college players. Might be short on athleticism but high on skill and BBIQ. Just to see the result.

Really worried about how much Dillingham fouls, just another thing to have to worry about with him. Starting to feel like there are too many question marks.
