Honestly not even mad at this loss. We kept up with a onctender and went 3-1 on the trip. That’s better than most of us thought.

Harden/Zubac pnr spam killed the Bulls in the 3rd and now it is back. Vooch can't move his feet and everyone else is too small. We don't have a PF

The starters are gassed. Why do we have to play Demar and Coby 40 minutes every night? Theyre playing great for now but Billy has to manage their minutes better

stacey king getting to the point of saying that other teams running the pick & roll should automatically result in a steal by the bulls...how does his brain work

As soon as the Bulls went after Harden they scored.

I don't remember him saying that but he's right about guys not reacting to the roller in time to cut off his space.

All the props to Ty Lue. He made a poorly built roster find ways to win.

he said caruso should instinctively be rotating into position to steal the pass from harden to zubac because "you know what they're running." as if nba teams don't know what the other team are running the vast majority of the time, and it's just hard to stop because nba players are generally good at what they do

It constantly amazes me that a guy that played says the things he says. Like, Stacey, you were a turnstyle. You could have been told where your man was going every time and not gotten there, these guys are good and Harden in the PnR has been making guys like dumb for a decade now.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

They indeed have a lot of talent... but they are unathletic, slow, can't play D. Their roster don't fit modern NBA. They lost the season series against the shi tty Lakers being exposed every single game. Poor interior D, poor perimeter D, stagnant offense.
They're overachievers.

Still a great road trip for the Bulls. Starters looked dead in the seccond half, which is completely understandable. The G-League bench is the problem.

This team would have more losses if they weren't playing so much every night.

Having a top 5 offense with a team that "doesn't fit modern NBA" is...interesting.
They have a healthy trio of Kawhi (top 5 MVP candidate for sure), PG and Harden. They're a contender. They're expected to beat the Chicago Bulls at home (or anywhere else, for that matter).

Dude.
First off , the Lakers aren't "sh tty". They have these guys named Lebron and Davis who qualify as top-15 players. And those guys definitely "wake up" to play the rival town squad.
Second, they may not play pretty, but having 3 superstars injured/old/what-not still means that team is very dangerous when on, and they turned on the jets in the 2nd half.

Bulls would be another level with mediocre paint protection. But they're doing well with what they have.

Re: Bulls @ Clippers, 3pm CT: West Coast Road Trip Finale
LAC seemed to have been ready to play the Bulls from 25 games back to open the game and got down . They decided they needed to play like a group led by all stars, made some serious adjustments at halftime and played like one of the top teams in the west.
most figured it would be a 1-3 trip so no reason to pout.
Let's see the Bulls come home and get some wins with a bunch of games spaced out, one back to back on a tough but not impossible 2 week stretch and get above .500.
