Pacers may even lose Siakam if they can’t make playoff, Siakam could just join Embiid , Maxey and NN. They are going to have much better chance to win championships than Pacers

Tbf I saw this coming because the Clippers always turn it up in the second half.

is vuc playing? then you know the bulls will play like trash down the stretch of a game.

This would be great for the pick they owe us. One can only hope.

Tbh expectation is he sign the max with the pacers with that 5th year that no one else can offer.
OG might be a bigger flight risk if the Knicks disappoint.

Due to the connections we all know of (that I'm still baffled the NBA turns a blind eye to), there is no doubt that OG and the Knicks have already discussed the parameters of a contract. Maybe even while he was still a Raptor. He is absolutely signing there. The only dicey thing possibly in play is if that POS Dolan has 2nd thoughts about the total amount, given that OG has missed more games than he's played for them.

Siakam is signing in Indy. It's the perfect situation for him with the expectations not being as heightened as they would be in GS, Philly, etc. He seems to be speaking as if he will be there a long time. Haliburton has already held the team's feet to the fire by babbling that they will be able to keep anyone they landed in a trade. It will be funny to me if they miss the playoffs and then hand him a quarter of a billion dollars lol.

yeah, og/knicks is all agent shenanigans. i bet detroit wouldn't even be able to offer him one of those crazy 2 year $100 mil deal b/c of it. that's why they'll go after tobias and i bet og signs a team friendly deal around $35 mil instead.

most likely you are right but if some team like the sixers offer OG the max thinking he's the last piece they need (like the sixers) can OG really say no.

I make that trade 10 out of 10 times and love it. I'm glad it worked in our favour. I just find it amusing that this stuff happens openly under Silver (who coincidentally is a native New Yorker).

The deal is already done. Here’s why:

OG’s agent: Sam Rose

Knicks President: Leon Rose

If you’re wondering why they have the same last name it’s because they are father and son.

Even if sixers offer 20-30M more? Loyalty has its limits.

As much as that'd suck, it's probably more important to have Jamal Murray ready. We basically gotta hope they don't repeat so there's at least a break between their playoffs and end of July. Mathurin wasn't apart of the original core so there's no guarantee he'd make the team even healthy.
