That was an absolutely pathetic performance from this team. Just embarrassing effort and mindset. Getting punked on your home floor. Great job showing your are bunch of pretenders.

Franz and Paolo are gonna have to grow up quickly. These games don't get any easier this time of year.

This one will sting. That 3rd Quarter, shooting issues, ehhhh..... I really wanted them to build a bit of a cushion in The Playoff Race.
Hopefully, Suggs will be back on Wednesday.

This is why signing someone like Monk and getting rid of Cole is on the top of the list this offseason. You can have Monk or Suggs in there instead of Cole or if WCJ is not it that game, you have both Suggs and Monk with Franz, Paolo and JI.thelead wrote:This lineup with Suggs instead of Cole would be nice to see get extended minutes

Hope it's not terrible. We thought Brunson's was bad but this doesn't sound good.
I guess it could always be worse, huh?
Team has to man up and beat the Nets.

Is the Suggs injury serious? I'll be honest, been out of the loop celebrating my wife's birthday along with my own these past two weeks.

Going to be great for the experience. But Paolo still being an inefficient offensive player and Franz with no in between game and struggles from three. It's going to be a rough playoff run for the youngins. I'm going to have lessen my expectations overall. It's tough being a fan.

I'm trying to keep things in perspective. We're in a position right now overall that we should be very pleased with. But it's impossible not to be upset with how we utterly failed to seize golden opportunities to strengthen our position. There's still more basketball to be played this season, they will have chances to respond. Right now I'm really disappointed and need to remove myself from basketball for the rest of the night or else I will just keep getting angrier over a game.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Its 44-43 halfway through the 3rd Knicks vs Philly. They serious about defense right now. Would very much like to avoid them.

The Rockets went 22-60 last year btw.
This year when FVV plays, they're 28-29. They're 1-6 in the games he's missed.
So yeah, I think he's made a significant impact on their team.
You don't think this team would be a lot better with FVV in Fultz's spot? Get real man.

We're also like a terrible team when tired. Not sure why, but we are. We have been on disadvantaged rest on three straight games now (@Wiz, @NYK, IND) and they all looked iffy.
If we lose to the Nets on even rest at home.. well...

Imagine that.
Tell us again how Fultz is guaranteed to be entrenched as our starting PG…
Tell us again how good FVV is while he leads Houston back into the lottery.
Tell us again how much we need Tyus Jones or Anfernee Simons while they also lead teams to the lottery.
Tell us again how your perpetual claims about how dire our PG position is when the team is fighting for home court advantage.
Please, enlighten all of us stupid people with more of your wisdom from on high.
Or keep doubling down on your opinion in the face of results that contradict it.
I said repeatedly that if Fultz stayed healthy and mostly replicated what he did last season that he'd be resigned even though what he did last year wasn't good enough. I absolutely stand by that opinion. Obviously he's been hurt most of this season and particularly awful when he has played, so things have changed.
Beyond that...
Do you ever stop and think how goofy is it to say that FVV, Tyus Jones and Anfernee Simons are "leading teams to the lottery" when we're talking about how they would be on THIS team, which is not a lottery team.
If any of the three of them were on this team, the talent around them would be playoff team talent and not lottery talent.
Honestly, this whole thing is one of the silliest things you've ever said and that's saying a lot.
You’ve been beating the drum for a new PG since last offseason. The team is currently fighting for home court advantage in the playoffs. It clearly hasn’t been as debilitating as you’ve made out. It’s become meaningless chicken little complaints at this stage. Changes will happen in time and improvements will be made, just let it happen and stop crucifying the guys on rookie scale contracts for not being a veteran playoff presence already, and maybe applaud the level of overachievement they’ve accomplished.
Or just put “I want a new PG for the Magic” in your sig to save yourself typing it- because at this stage we all know that’s where most of your comments will end up.

I'm just enjoying the journey this season. Taking the anger out of things, actually proud of what this team is doing and they are playing above my expectations.
They absolutely frustrate me but overall I'm enjoying the team for what it is. For Franz and Paolo, they have to get their games to the next level and play with more urgency. Disappointed in them these past two games.
