And OKC isnt getting a top 5-6 player in the Association without giving up either of their top 2 players, thats just absurd.
Honestly, what team is offering more value than Jalen+Josh/Dieng+lottery pick+8 future firsts?
Because “8 firsts” doesn’t even mean OKC needs to trade all of their own picks.. so OKC could add more than that..
Presti can beat anyone’s realistic offer without including either of his two top assets. Which is true and absurd at the same time.
If they can maneuver it to get their 2027 and 2029 picks back from a few of those surplus of picks somehow sure, but otherwise dont see why Dallas would do it just to turn around and potentially give Cha and BKN top picks themselves
I think if Luka demands out by January (sort of what this thread is suggesting?)…
Dallas would have 1.5 years of tanking before the pick debt.
I don’t see the 2027 pick being valued more than any other teams high variance pick personally.
Lively / Jalen / two Dallas top 8 picks (2025 and 2026) and the rest of OKC’s owned picks/prospects..
Let’s hope this is just a boring fake trade idea. Dallas has the ability to trade for a new best forward this offseason and can go on a deep run next year. And this year really.
Maxi isn’t a center, THJ is kind of important until we upgrade him, and some other things that Kidd doesn’t seem to agree with me on..
