Dick + Barnes is solid. One more special guy along with some slightly older players and we could start talking playoffs again and hope for some potential jumps from these guys.

Would take cautiously optimistic approach with Dick until we see more from his second season. There are enough guys that do well post All-Star only to regress next season. But if he continues to trend the right way, I'd say him, Barnes, and Quickley are keepers. It's obvious next core piece needs to be a 4/5.

he didnt suddenly start playing well after the all star game though imo. hes been playing well really since the new year, and in reality outside of his shot not falling, alot of the other stuff with his game has been good all year, its just that the other skills arent maximized if his shot isnt falling, which it is now.

I think in a re-draft, gradey could go as high as 5th:

Wemby
Miller
amen
Auser
Gradey

I take Gradey over podz. Jaime is good but older. Cams reported bad knees.

The only reason OG dropped IIRC is because of "Bad knees" too. I feel like Cam is going to make a lot of teams regret passing on him in a few years.

You forgot Lively, Keyonte, Wallace etc. who are all having very solid rookie seasons.

I think Gradey is easily in the top 10 but way too early to tell at this point if he's in the top 5.

Injury concerns would be enough to drop a prospect out of the top 10 for sure. Still risky to take 11-14 but makes sense as a low risk high reward gamble 15-20...like Michael Porter Jr.

I'm still taking Jett Howard over Dick.

Wanna see him in a Herro 6th man role next season (30+ mpg). I have a feeling this FO will bring back Trent for cheap.

Trent/Dick
Barrett/Agbaji
Barnes/Porter
Poeltl/Olynyk

It's the little things he does that impresses me.

The highlights posted on page 4 at bottom by Wu, 0:42, where he tips the ball up and over KCP to get possession and then sticks the 3 in transition. Not a big deal but a small thing. If he tries to go get it, he likely doesn't get it.

Like I said a small thing, but shows he has such good IQ and instincts.

I don't know what Gary's price will be, I'm inclined to think he's an $18 million player for the next few years unless he broadens his game which seems unlikely at this point. And if he takes his time about negotiating with the team, Masai and Bobby could just move on because in early July, other opportunities will present themselves.

I doubt he gets 18mil.

I think it'll be in the 12-15mil AAV range.

I don't assume much about it, several guys are looking out for themselves right now, for trade or contract reasons, but Gradey has the luxury of being a team player. Come next season, with a more stable roster, whatever the talent level, plus a training camp, I'd expect the team will increase his usage (in fact insist upon it). When he bulks up, I'd like to see him drive into mid-range more, and become a money mid-range player who will also get to the line more, where he will be our best free-throw shooter since Jose Calderon. He ought to watch DeMar in that regard. :)

I didn't watch the game, but can anyone tell me why McDaniels took - and missed - a technical free throw when Dick was on the court? Shouldn't the best FT shooter automatically take that shot? I mean, if Barnes was playing, he's good enough a FT shooter to command that shot, but McDaniels?

Cam has a lower assist rate than Biyombo. Let that sit in for a minute. GTJ has almost double the assist rate.

As a scorer, Cam has more tools. Obviously has good potential as a defender.

Being a scorer is great, he will never be more than 6 man if he does not average more than 1APG.

If we get lucky and keep our pick, we can literally end the rebuild this season.
