I haven't gotten nearly as much use out of my League Pass account as I normally do since the baby was born in December, but having watched all the Celtics games White is developing a Smart-like highlight reel of defensive plays, but the DPOY narrative Smart had isn't there at all. Who else is a contender for it though?

the smart trade looks like a no-brainer these days.
What a revolution this lad is. I thought he couldnt shoot his first couple of months but he is like a well oiled-machine going full steam all the time.

he should defo be first team defense.

There's no buzz for White because there is no buzz at all around this DPOY race. The only suspense is whether Gobert will be a unanimous choice or not. For what it's worth, Vegas has White pretty much in a tie for 6th with Holmgren (with Gobert, Wemby, Allen, Adebayo and Davis in front).
