Well, how nice of the Knicks to beat our lowest scoring game of the season themselves, by one.
Doesn't really make me feel any better, though.

I think so. Might as well ride the "overperform" train all the way to the station.

Watching Cleveland on offense (without Mitchell, Strus, and Mobley) is depressing when you compare it to ours.

Seems like Segun avoided major tears. Probably done for rest of a season tho.

Seems like the league is allowing more physicality. Fewer foul calls now, a drastic negative trend.SOUL wrote:Indy holding OKC to 46 at half. Maybe their defense is legit now lol

Since when does SGA suck. I hate scoreboard watching, it pisses me off more than our own games. Well, not really, but it's close.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Knicks & Pacers with some serious defense, but Knicks defense is on whole another level.
Last 5 games Knicks have def rating of whooping 99.3
Second best team has 105.

Re: 2023-2024 Official Around the NBA Discussion Thread
I hope the league will maintain this way of calling games, as it became pointless and scoring baskets had no joy. It is one thing when defender flops trying to get charge call, but when you have leagues "best scorers" constantly hunting for whistles and shooting 10+ FTs it is just sad. You have Embiid who is physical monster but flops so much that defender's main concern is to stay away from him to avoid ticky-tacky fouls he is going to get.

10-ish days ago Giannis had 21 FTA attemp vs Wolves, who, as a team had 12.
Both teams had same amount of points in paint scored.
Watching star shoot 20 FTA is no fun.

On other side of spectrum, this change seems to allow attacking player to be physical as well if a defender initiates the contact first. I loved watching Jokić throw Porzingis around like a ragdoll the other day with Celtics fans crying their eyes out in despair. It's old school basketball.
