76ers
Heat
Cavaliers
Knicks
Magic

All in action tonight with tough matchups. Knicks host the Magic tonight so one guaranteed loss and win for this list. Hopefully everyone else loses.

Edit: Magic, Heat, and 76ers lose. Heat and 76ers fall to 1/2 game ahead of Pacers.

Heat lost and we won and Knicks are playing the Sixers so one will lose. A Knicks win is better for us as we'd

Edit:

be a half game up on the Knicks and the Heat.

Actually we will pass both of them in the win column with a Knicks win.

You're right. I edited my post after you quoted it to fix the Heat but I still had sixers wrong. I'll edit again.

A win tonight against the Thunder coupled with a 76ers loss to the Knicks would move the Pacers into 6th place a half game behind the Magic in 5th place.

Almost expect a loss tonight. That’s this team’s mo. Can beat anyone and lose to anyone. Is that a good thing come Playoffs? The good news, no one outside of Boston seems that scary. Stay at the 6 seed and an ECF appearance is feasible.

I agree that their mo is to lose tonight. However I think this team has turned it up a notch in the urgency department because of the loss of Mathurin, the defensive intensity had to improve, and the impending playoff positioning at hand with 16 games left to climb away from the play in. Offense has been a positive all season.

Although the Bulls are always a tough opponent I think the Pacers are on a roll and take them down.

I also agree with you that teams in the Eastern Conference are banged up currently.

Celtics- Porzingis out
Bucks - Middleton out
Cavaliers- Mobley out
Knicks- Randall out
76ers- Embid out
Bulls- LaVine out
Hawks- Johnson out

Although Mathurin is out I think the emergence of Sheppard and possibly Walker getting an opportunity will keep them at least in 6th place or better.

Heat lose. Magic win. We're still playing. I'm no longer worried about Magic wins as they and Knicks being 4-5 is perfect. We need to stay ahead of Heat and Sixers

Even though the Pacers are in 6th place in the East it is crazy that they are only 2 places removed from the lottery with the 17th worst team record in the league. Obviously they have lost a few games they were capable of winning.

I guess we call it parity in the league. Only 7 really bad record teams and Toronto is only bad due to injuries and the rebuilding path choice.

I reckon it’s as close to a win win situation as possible.

you are looking at league wide standings instead of the Eastern Conference standings. we're 10.5 games removed from the lottery (Nets are in 11). but we are only half a game out of the play-in and could fall into the lottery if we fall into the play-in and play ourselves out.

A Suns win tonight at home vs the 76ers coupled with a Pacers win puts us back in 6th. Heat behind us by a half game are at the Cavaliers tonight.
