In Scottie Barnes' first 31 games this year, he shot 39.5% from three.

In his last 29 games, he shot 26.1% from three.

Risacher in reality being like a 35-37% three point shooter who has just gotten lucky is pretty likely.

Barnes never showed much promise as a shooter before the hot streak early this year. He was a 28% from three and 62% FT shooter in college. While he's improved slightly in both areas as a pro he's still never going to be considered a great shooter. Conversely, Risacher is already showing it as an 18 y/o. There's a huge difference. There's no reason to expect Risacher's shooting to crater.

He keeps the ball high, he slams everything around the basket and is clearly 10-15 lbs heavier, without losing any quickness. I doubt he declares early but I did see a video where he was able to meet Jokic and learn some tidbits from him. I think there's a good chance Vlad (7'1) could play his way into the league if he keeps this up. He'll get a summer league invite at a bare minimum.

I don't see what you see with Vlad. I feel like he's a dime a dozen college center in that respect...he's just a big stiff out there.

But Johnell Davis...Terry Rozier is my comp for him

He looked way stronger and coordinated to me. We'll see how he ramps up during conference tourney and NCAA tourney play.

Found a good comparison for Buzelis, Brandon Ingram with short arms and a much worse jumpshot.

I actually think he is pretty similar to Jaden McDaniels. Idk if he ever gets to his level on defense but the size, length and athleticism is similar. I also am starting to lean more into Cody being more of a slasher at the next level and less on ball play.

Jamir Watkins (FSU) having another good game. I think he's really improved his stock even if the draftniks aren't talking about the man.

His statistical profile fits the bill. He has improved each season statistically in AST%, STOCKS%, FTR, eFG%,OREB%, USG% and this includes transferring from an A-10 school to an ACC school.

What is the great appeal of him? I haven't really watched but first glance I see
- Late breakout age (junior)
- Good numbers on a bad team (leading scorer)
- Mediocre shooting % and attempt volume through 3 years of data
- Good defensive numbers.

I am liking him as a Herb Jones/Vince Williams Jr. type. Obviously, Herb just keeps getting better and better and could end up going beyond an elite role player, but this is just one of those situations where you just have to watch the guy play to see the pro upside. Like a classic late bloomer who has some unique skills. He should have been All-ACC as well. The 6'7 with a 7'0 wingspan and athleticism physical profile is what intrigues me. He also doesn't have poor shot mechanics. FSU is much better with him than they were last year without him.

There is value to developing a POA defender in this perimeter oriented NBA. Coaches like Thibs or Nick Nurse would love him.

Ya, he is for sure a late FRP to me. Lots of teams are looking for 6'7+ 3/D guys w/ length and athletic pop. His 84% FT on good volume bodes well for a continued 3PT shot. I wont say Herb, just too unique a defender, but a bigger VW JR isnt a bad comp.

Risacher has a really good motor and has good defensive awareness, but it becomes more clear with each game that he just doesn't have much to any offensive talent.

He's going to be a guy who shoots 37% from three on open spotup threes and doesn't do much more than that. Maybe like Royce O'Neale in terms of impact.

I believe I was first on him :D He's very similar to Jimmy Butler both in size, athleticism and even the way they play. I think he'll go anywhere from the middle of the first on. Like Butler he's around 6'5" and he isn't great from deep but he can guard 1-3, is a connective passer and a great slasher that enables him to get to the FT line. He's older but mileage is low and this is really the first opportunity he's had to start every game since high school. It's impressive that his play improved with tougher competition. The reason why he's still not on "scouts" radars is because they made up their minds about these guys and this class a year ago and didn't have him on their boards. It's like they can't even entertain that they're wrong so they're ignoring it entirely hoping it goes away which is irrational or that he'll go in the 2nd somehow. It's kinda funny.

Sarr finished his season shooting 27.6% from three.

......................................... Not a fan of that number.

Trying to draft the next Giannis has turned NBA team's minds into putty. WAy more likely landing a Biyombo or Thabeet here with these outrageous scouting concensus.
