I am too, but you need more bodies and you should be open to drafting an upgrade if one falls into your lap. Just play the cards you're dealt in the draft, and I'm optimistic that that will include a good LB.

If Jacobs is the 2023 version, this is a massive home run. If he is the 2024 version, I think we are worse but probably not a lot worse given how terrible that Raiders team was.

I suspect we end somewhere in the middle and it should be a good result for everyone involved.

You're off by a year (should be 2022/2023) but I agree.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

There's bound to be some chaos in the early weeks anyway, so go more with guys who are familiar with each others strengths and weaknesses on the field?

I have a lot of confidence in Haf and assuming he's signing off on bringing guys back I have hope he sees something to work with.

I think this aspect of going from Jones to Jacobs is really being overlooked. They're both really good but there's a pretty easy path to making an argument that they prefer a more sturdy and powerful runner for what they want to do and that is Jacobs.

How long until Simmons becomes a no brainer? The significant money portion of FA is likely over. A cheap 2 year deal would be amazing. Jaire would eat with those two deep.

It's a good question. Apparently, the Eagles dropped out of talks with him because his asking price is too high though so who knows when he'll drop it

Wouldn't mind it if the money was right. Him and McKinney at Safety spots and we draft someone to eventually replace Hyde / learn under Hyde.

Yea Hyde on a 1 year deal as a stop gap would be perfectly fine

I'm still holding out hope they can somehow nab Kam Curl on a reasonable deal, but that's wishful thinking. Surprised he's still available.

Hyde's been bad and he's old. I don't imagine him offering anything on special teams.

Kamren Curl and either Jerome Baker or Tyrel Dodson are my hopes. I would also take Isaiah Simmons as a sub package coverage linebacker.

No clue how much he has left in the tank. Can he really be worse than a Jonathan Owens? I do know he's had his fair share of injury issues also, i imagine they'd do a thorough check on the medicals. He would be a great mentor for anyone we add in the draft.
