Re: Around The League
Must be nice to pretty easily handle the heat while your mvp level player puts up a 12/14/6

Re: Around The League
It is amazing how Halliburton has fallen off the cliff.
His season stats now are essentially the same as last year

He’s still a great player, and Indy still winning at a slightly over .500 clip. But he’s not on that transcendent pantheon track.

Dinner, or supper as some refer, is traditionally taken during evening hours.

If he's still bothered with an injury, it's really bothering him then. He's back to playing 34mpg. For March he's shooting 19% on three pointers. He shot 46% on 3's back in November.
Just remarking how cocky the kid was back in Nov/Dec. And he was backing it up.

Re: Around The League
Thought it was pretty obvious that Haliburton's been playing through injury just to qualify for All-NBA honors. 15-games left and he needs to play in 11 of them. And as much as I love him as a player, I never viewed him as a "pantheon" level talent so I think people bought a little too into the early season efficiency and the Steve Nash comps. He basically had one month (November) where he turned into 2016 Curry (28 PPG on 69% TS) and has been pretty average outside of that. He's not an elite tier scorer that's gonna carry you in crunch time.

Maybe it threw him off, maybe playing just to play took some of the passion out of the craft. We'll see if he ever gets back to those levels.

Re: Around The League
If the bar is set at Giddey playing 15mpg in the Playoffs, are you taking the over/under?
I think he's going to be relegated pretty promptly.

76ers have a pretty tough schedule coming up, they are probably falling to 10th before (if) Embiid comes back.

Hopefully Celtics play 8th seed Sixers with Embiid or the Heat in round 1.

Careful. Any play-in team the #1 seed could face in the first round, could also happen to the #2 seed.

Re: Around The League
Grayson Allen shot the ball very well last night. He's improved and grown up some. It doesn't feel like he's doing the questionable play he used to. He did get burned on D regularly though.
That three point percentage of his is pretty amazing. Where did that come from?
