I actually think the Knicks are a bad playoff matchup for the Magic tbh.

The Magic generally beat people by playing slow, defending like crazy, forcing a lot of turnovers and crashing the hell out of the defensive glass.

But the Knicks are built to play that exact style too, only they’re older, tougher and more playoff experienced.

Yup... they also have better 3pt shooters than ours. However, its the calls... like the 4th game where we got beat up. A lot of calls were def in their favor. Even knicks players were laughing getting away with them.. if calls were even, i think we cone put slightly better due to better legs and bigger everywhere else except C position.

That is OK, the Knicks don't play all that well at home anyway.

The Knicks are older and more balanced but the Magic have extreme defensive talent also have two guys who are halfcourt mismatches because of their size and it will bode well for slower a playoff setting.

Like Boston's defensive rating is technically higher than the Magic's but they also have an explosive offense so there are many games where they are playing garbage time for the entire fourth quarter because they are up by so much and this in turn makes their rating look better. The Magic aren't like that our team is truly a defensive team.

The Magic are like Minnesota-lite we are a huge team are truly built from the defensive side of the ball. Our problem is that if we fall too far behind we don't have the offense to bring us back.

The Knicks have the 13th ranked defense and the 8th ranked offense and 16th in remaining schedule sos.

The Magic have the 4th ranked defense and the 24th ranked offense and the 24th remaining schedule sos.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Knicks are better than they look , imo. It's not just Randle who is missing, it's Mitchell Robinson as well, and OG does not look 100% fit, but around playoffs he will probably be healthy.
Burks but especially Bojan are yet to find their sweet spots.

I still expect Heat to go on some 8-10 games winning streak because schedule for them is so damn favorable.

For start, within next week they can beat Cavs and 76ers. Hell, they play Cavs twice in next 10 days.

Hopefully, the Heat can beat the Cavs twice. If the Magic and the Knicks keep winning, one of us will get the 3rd seed.

The Knicks are playing a 9-man playoff rotation already. I think we need to start doing this to see how it works. We can leave Fultz on the bench.

Goga's size is more effective against NY. He also plays Myles Turner way better.

We also don’t have guard scoring to counter Brunson.

When Suggs and Black started together, they shut down Brunson and Haliburton. Black is a better defender than Harris.

Adebayo buzzerbeater 3 . Damn.

Btw Duncan Robinson made some crazy 3s

In Bucks- Suns game, Bucks made franchise record 16 made threes in first half. Unreal, felt like nobody can miss.

The Knicks will go as far as Brunson takes them. If he gets nicked up at all, they are in trouble even if all the others are healthy.

What a talent. Hard to believe that the Mavs let him go.

Why the **** Cade shot so early, DET could hold on for the buzzer attempt right?

I think a healthy Knicks team with a full season of OG wouldve been a top 4 or 5 team in the NBA. Very dangerous team. In some ways they remind me a lot of D-Rose Bulls with Thibs when they won like 60 games.

Yep, they could have had shot at a buzzer.
But they also could call time out.

But they are one of worst teams in history for a reason
