After those multiple games where individuals had 70 point nights with laughable defense, the league adjusted and gave us exactly what the game has been missing for years… DEFENSE

We’ll need everyone to have any shot against Boston. They’re just that good. They’re on another level than teams like SAC.

I've never seen a play like that in a game like this. It was kind of like what you said...I think Brunson is a magician too
He punked him so bad with the finger point
That's the play I was like in disbelief, but they never replayed... did he really catch Ellis sleeping that bad lol a sec he looked away and JB already in the paint... and JB is not even the quickest, that's how insanely good NBA All Stars are

Randle won’t be able to mail it in on defense when he gets back. Not the way this team is playing with such physicality. If he returns healthy (and Jalen/OG stay healthy), this team is truly dangerous.

Jalen is a marvel. Back to back 40 pt games. Absolute warlock. Muhammad Ali footwork.
Isaiah is back in his January form. The Hartenstein Monsters returns.
Alec and Bojan held it down in the 4th. Would be real nice if they could start making shots like that regularly.
Josh grabbed his Bs and slapped them Bs.
Donte still off from 3. Month long slump continues. Seems like he has to tweak something in his shot.
OG was nonexistent on offense, but stepped up his defense in the clutch. Still shaking the rust.
Deuce had 0 pts & 0 asts with some shaky moments handling the ball. Not his best but he’ll bounce back.
Precious was quiet as a scorer but had 4 assists with some good moments on D.
3 game win streak going into 2 tough games against GS and DEN. Handled bizness. Kept the bats on their necks. Good night.

randle has been out long enough that we now have enough data on what the team would look like if we traded him.

We got 21 points, 8 reb and 3 assists in 42 minutes from the Detroit guys
We needed that to win

Re: PG: iHart in Monster Mode as Knicks Clinch Playoff Intensity Road Game
I'm happy to see iHart have a solid game. He was scaring me with his lingering achilles issue but he looked a lot like his old self tonight. Completely shut down Sabonis in the second half.
OG's elbow was obviously troubling him with his shot. It seemed he never had full extension on his jumper. He still managed to do his thing on the defensive end despite the pain.
This team will be very interesting to see when fully healthy. I think they got the league on notice for sure.

In 4th seed
ORL 1 game behind us
CAVS 2 games ahead
BUCKS 3 games ahead (whom we play twice)
We should not settle for anything less than 4th seed but 2 or 3 can happen if we get hot
Two more games on this west coast trip, both winnable.
After that, the next four games we should be favored to win vs. Nets, Raptors, Pistons and Spurs
If we sweep this road trip, we are very much in the market for the 2nd or 3rd seed
