he is a free agent magic can just sign him they have space if interested? dont think they will be
i really do not think they move wcj unless part of big trade that magic add to him to get a much better player do not see a 1/1 or 2/1 deal with magic getting 2 players more ..a wcj plus magic first or 2 for a better player sure...with his contract they just keep him not getting back a great player for just him and not making a hole in lineup for less

Detroit does have beef Stew, but I would much rather have WCJ. Makes sense for Detroit if they draft another wing/guard.

no thanks. We already have an Ivey type of player in Suggs. and definitely not adding a first to go along with that.

Ivey and Suggs are wildly different players. I think Ivey would be a great fit in Orlando, but don't know if Detroit would be open to moving him

It depends on Detroit's draft. If the Pistons land Sarr, then moving Ivey makes no sense. BUT if Detroit lands Cody Williams or Richasher, two wings who will need the ball and development, I think moving Ivey makes more sense.

My larger idea for Detroit is to move Duren for Murphy and then Ivey for WCJ and 19 in such a scenario.

why would he be a great fit? bad shooter, bad defender. plays the same position as Suggs. why exactly would he be a great fit?

He's a decent defender and I think he could slot in well next to Suggs. But I didn't realize how streaky his shooting has been, I was hoping he could be someone with more perimeter gravity to open up things inside for Paolo and Franz

What about WCJ and 22 to OKC for 12?

Then ORL grabs their GOTF at 12?

trying to draft and develop the GOTF isnt a good idea given how good this team has become. If anything, they need immediate help so that they can be competitive in the play offs. They still have two rookies who are barely getting playing time, one of whom has shown signs of potentially becoming that guard they need.

anyway we'll see if the FO even wants to move on from WCJ. He has been playing well recently, and i dont know if they believe its worth it to upgrade through FA where they'd likely have to pay that FA twice as much as WCJ. If he can up his rebounding and defensive effort through the last few games of the season and especially the play offs, its most likely they keep him.
