Value wise there's an argument for it I suppose, but that is only if Houston really view this team as being one piece away kind of situation which I don't think most rational people would see them at right now, from my view, Houston now has one guy that has hit at a borderline all-star level (Sengun) with some possibility of being even more, but there's a lot of other moving pieces to sort out.

Ultimately I don' t think they should do this TYPE of trade in general unless it gets really lobsided. They need to figure out more clearly what they have among their picks before really picking a direction, and they just haven't gotten there, even Sengun while proving a ton, hasn't gotten to the say... SGA last year / this year type of situation where you're 100% confident he's a top 10 type talent that you can build around.

And even OKC hasn't really made that sort of swing yet, Houston's still a year or 2 behind OKC in rebuild schedule, I generally think they should avoid swings that might lower their longer-term upside.

Trade specifically with Brooklyn is weird because obvious those picks are way more valuable ot them then everyone else which clouds things though.

I do not think Houston has the talent aside from just returning all the picks to entice BK.

No one wants to trade for Green. Whitmore has some value but not nearly enough. I do not see this working out unless HOU overpays and it seems like their offers were very underwhelming.

Inside intel has a player or two who want to specifically play in BK with Bridges. So, BK has nearly 0 incentive to move him if they like that (or those) players. If they heard those players were no longer in the mix then I think HOU would over offer to make sure they got their guy in Bridges. But, as of now this is all for naught.

Bridges value peaked after the trade last season. BK could have gotten a haul in the offseason, by fooling some team into believing he was something more than what he had shown.

Since then, he has had a really bad year, and another year ticked off the contract status.

I'd offer Green + either this years pick or next years with protection.

Outside of that, perfectly content with the Nets funneling us top ten picks for the next four years.

Revisiting this, so glad that Green + Picks was never offered. Bridges is checked out, and I cannot see any GM watching this stretch of games being willing to give up a boatload of premium draft capital to secure his services.

He just needs an off season of rest and will be fine. Once he gets his #1 things will fall into play much easier as well.

The Nets need to build the team this and next offseason before we know what is going on either way.
