Same way Curry does?

His shooting has steadily declined. Maybe a rookie wall. That's got to be a priority for the offseason, work on the J. Because teams are preventing him from getting to the rim, for that off the glass layups. And his floaters are not good enough. Better jump shooting should open up more drives.
He still does a lot of good things, great floor game and effort on rebounds.
But if he can't shoot well enough, his drives into the lane are going to be cut off even more.

Podz doesn’t appear to be a good catch and shoot player. He shoots much better side stepping, jab stepping first. It’s kind of odd.

Podz has been super impactful for a rookie but the book is getting out on him. Doesn’t finish to his right and can’t shoot a jump shot.

His previous high in 3PA was with the Warriors last season, now second best in 3P%.
That is the obvious place Podz can increase his impact. They're both listed the same height, about the same weight. DDV probably has more bounce but they're both active on the boards for their size and can do some playmaking, getting assists. DDV averaged more rebounds and assists with the Warriors compared to this season where he's taking more shots.
Hopefully over the next couple of seasons, Podz can double his 3PA from the current 3.3 this season and hit 37-38% or better efficiency. He also needs to get his FT% from 69% so far to 75% or better but he's not going to be a high FTA player unless he develops some better shot creation skills.

The best thing is if he had a late growth spurt of a couple of inches. Or HGH or something.

yup, needs some HGH and roids. Is Balco still around?

I just think he’s embraced the Little Draymond role too much because he doesn’t even look for his shot anymore
