Anyway, i dont really do much the podcast route. Didnt even watch the Barbershop. i imagine some of their content will be debated on this board though.

It’s the same old stuff we normally expect - virtually anything to keep his name relevant while his team sucks.

But I’ll definitely catch a few shows.

im all for more basketball talk and less hot take Skip, Kendrick Steven A nonsense. As an example i can listen to Brian Cox talk for hours about Physics; he was given a gift for communication. Lebron just isnt very engaging to me.

Well, then perhaps JJ can augment that. The bottom line is, we need an ex player who actually know his stuff. Kobe looked like he might take that on with some of his work before he passed. Sadly, he passed and we were left with the void not just of Skip and SAS, but Pierce, TMAC, Perk...and a slew of just horrible takes by ex players who seemingly don't understand the game they're supposedly watching.

Lebron doesn't just love playing basketball, he loves studying it. I'd add in, most people are more engaging when they're discussing things they love. I do hope however someone takes JJ's napkin style writing and for the video formats, places that in the background eventually. If JJ needs to make a picture to see what lebron's saying...imagine us normies who didn't play 20+ years of basketball!

Loved the episode. Enjoyed that they shouted out and credited a lot of their peers in a positive way, in addition to the technical talk.

Anyone who’s ever complained or grown tired of the hot take superficial sports talk should give the show a try.

Best on YouTube where they show some clips or definitions that go along with the convo.

Two unlikeable guys team up to make….an actual great podcast. Not much else to add. Might just be that the current state of sports media is so terrible but this was a breath of fresh air over the shock junk trash out there or losers like Gilbert Arenas and Stephen Jackson talking about how little they tried or cared. The respect for the game is refreshing

Based off early reactions, it looks like clips talking about players will be aggregated more than the actual knowledge being shared for every episode. That's disappointing. Nobody wants to learn, they'd rather sling mudpies at each other.

Get a grip. There's still plenty of ESPN and TMZ-level content out there for you to get your fill. In fact, that's most basketball related content!
