Name 2 or 3 guys you'd want for Herro and '24 1st?

I'm only considering realistic options, not going wild and saying Lauri or anything like that, but this is the type of guy I'd target, and not all of them would get a first from me.

Myles Turner
John Collins (though I would not include anything else and might want seconds coming our way)
Maybe Julius Randle (though he would be way down on my list)
DFS (I wanted he and Dinwiddie for Herro and a first)
Maybe Portis

I'm not shooting for the world here, I just want someone who fits.

Nets get:
Jalen Green
Jae'Sean Tate
Jeff Green

Rockets get:
Tyler Herro

Heat get:
Dorian Finney-Smith

I believe Miami is owed value here.

The Heat doesn't need to swap its pick to downgrade from Herro to Sexton. The Heat doesnt need Sexton coz they have Rozier. OG trade is more of a salary savings for Miami.

You're not trading any 1st here though... it's just Herro for DFS with tons of savings built in while keeping all of your picks for maybe a follow-up Duncan Robinson deal?

I agree they don't really need Sexton because they already, foolishly IMO, traded for Rozier. Pat typically makes shrewder deals but that one was a bit of a head scratcher. With that said Sexton is currently a better player than Herro although I do understand most people don't pay any attention to the Jazz.

Herro for Kuzma?

Dear lord, no. I'd rather keep Herro...

The Kuzma hate here continues to be ridiculous.

On a per 36 basis, Kuzma scores 2.7 more points and an incrementally HIGHER TS% than Herro. He also gets 1.6 more rebounds and only 0.1 fewer assists. Kuzma is doing it as the number 1 focus of defensive attention while Herro is a 3rd option. Kuzma is also 6-9 and way better and more versatile defensively. Kuzma is more durable and will cost 65% as much as Herro going forward.

Miami would trade Herro for Kuzma so fast it would make your head spin.

I thoroughly disagree, but you do you.

Kuzma is empty stats and pretty much always has been. This is a teams starting power forward and he's getting 1.6 more boards than our shooting guard?

No, not buying it. I'd keep Herro and continue to develop Jovic before taking Kuzma.

Jerami Grant?
I don't see Portland wanting Herro and I kinda don't think they'd deal with each other. Maybe though.

I agree that Portland would not want Herro.
I was thinking more of a 3-way, with Herro going to another team (Brooklyn, Orlando, Utah, OKC, Philly, etc).
