2024 Free Agents

Post#1 » by NYG » Thu Mar 21, 2024 1:56 am

1. Who are the top 5 free agents that will be on a new team next year and which team?
2. Which players will be involved in sign and trade deals?
3. Which 8 free agents will sign for the non-tax MLE? I have 8 teams being able to use it.
4. Which players get MAX contracts?

Paul George looks like he could realistically leave the Clippers. Not sure they will give him the max, and the Sixers have already been reportedly interested in him for the max.

PG: Sixers
Miles Bridges: Pistons
Klay Thompson: Hornets
Demar DeRozan: Spurs

I think these guys are interesting options for teams with MLE available. They are mostly wings and forwards, either shooters or 3&D guys who I think could be had for less then what their impact could be.

Some will command full MLE, while some could be had for much less, and can give you good rotation minutes or more.

First group are guys worth full MLE or at least close to it, who could be low end starters or high end rotation players / 6th men.

Second group are guys who could likely be had for cheap and could overplay their price.

J. Smith, Pacers
N. Marshall, Pelicans
C. Martin, Heat
D. Melton, 76ers

T. Prince, Lakers
T. Horton Tucker, Jazz
E. Fournier, Pistons
H. Highsmith, Heat
C. Osman, Spurs
