Woah, after almost 70 games in the east the 2 through 5 seeds are separated by a mere 3.5 games...a couple more than a dozen games each for the teams to finish it.

Unfortunate this game is going to be one of the toughest tests against the champs a mile high at the end of a western road trip. With most of the other teams around the Knicks in the standings losing tonight it was a chance to gain some ground. I guess just be content to not lose any is good enough.

If the Knicks win this game I will lose my mind...or at least what's left of it.

If we're healthy, I think we can make a strong push for the ECF. But due to the injuries, we could end up seeing Boston in the EC semi-finals.

With healthy Brunson, Donte, Hart, OG and Hart (even without Randle) we can beat Celtics in 6

Thibs is like Nurse with minutes, who you know all about. Nurse is actually one of the coaches that is worse than Thibs in sharing minutes with the bench.

I care more about putting off a match up against Boston until round 3, so we can get our big guns back into form first, than who we face in round 1.

Miami is the only team we could run into in round 1 I'd rather not see...but that's more about how physical our games with them get. With a healthy Julius & OG we can take care of the Heat, I just don't want to find out how many new injures we'd leave that series with.

So hopefully Miami stays in one of the play-in spots and we only have to face them if they can get past Boston on the other side of the bracket.

Probably not unless this turns into a massive blow out.

Thibs leans on his bench a lot more than the memes would suggest...when the bench is there for him to lean on. When it's not, is when Thibs lives up to the memes because he will ride his guys for as many minutes as they can make a positive impact for, rather than let opponents go on runs against scrubs.

If the bench can't get things done, then Thibs won't feed them minutes just so he can rest the guys that are getting it done. And until the minutes start sapping a player's effectiveness, he won't cut their minutes back if he needs them...unless the medical staff has a guy on a minutes restriction.

Will be really interesting to see how we deal with them. For us to have success I think Precious will need to have his best game yet, so he can help Hartenstein & Sims deal with Jokic without letting Joker hit Gordon cutting to the rim.
