I think its amazing how opposite the views of laker fans and laker haters are.

I see them talk shyt about the lakers 4 out of 5 days on air and im sure laker haters think they are adored.

It's not about being a hater, its about the truth.

Did you see the sentiment ESPN had when they signed Christian Wood? They were acting like it was a big signing. Which I guess is further proof that most TV personalities don't actually watch games and just look at stats.

Sounds like youre emotionally invested.

I know i am as a laker fan but i did not see the press from the signing. I was happy for another big body for the vet minimum. I saw someone saying laker fans were praising it. My response is "DUH!!!!!"

In our LA community we weren't really depending on him anyways he never gave enough effort to merit any concern now that he is out. We do want him a speedy recovery though. Our hopes for any chances of replicating last year post season lot of it will rest on Gabe Vando and Reddish being back full strength.

I liked his signing more than I liked the Jaxson Hayes signing, but both were 220 lb skinny boys that get destroyed by Jokic without putting up any resistance.

Maybe we pay out Wood's contract and get thicker help so that AD can actually move to the 4 in certain lineups

Said this very thing About Vucevic for years. By now, not many people rank Wood that high, so how overrated can he even be?

Lakers fans here were acting like Wood was some steal that would move the needle lol

Lakers need some serious size next to AD and Wood actually should have helped the team more but Darvin Ham doesn't know anything but small ball

The Lakers have some big decisions to make in the off season.

D-Lo wants to come back, but should they pay him what he wants. I would say no, unless he has an all time historically great playoff run

Every year a new team convinces themselves that Christian Wood will be an impact player for them, and at the end of that season every team is inevitably disappointed.

Yall keep confusing 'impact' for "give us some decent minutes".

Then again, you're exaggerating on purpose to further weak azz points. No laker fan expected a big impact but 10 and 5 would be a huge help for a team that lacks size.

You minimize every hurt player as to put more blame on the big 2. I see what youre doing

One could make a reasonable argument that "impact" and "giving decent minutes" is synonymous, so I'm not sure what argument you think you're making there.

And my comment wasn't even intended as an anti-Lakers comment, it was an anti-Wood comment. I don't care enough about the Lakers to make any negative comments about them.

I kinda lumped your comment in with the anti laker faction. You were collateral damage, lol

He'll never be the difference between play-in/playoffs, 1st round/2nd round, etc, but they could use his rebounding. He's a good finisher too.

If someone plays in the play in tournament only does that count as playoffs?

Play in not in season, which is where I think the Lakers will lose.

They're actually only 3 1/2 games ahead of the Rockets who's currently in 11th and have won 8 out of 10 but also half a game ahead of Warriors. If they end up with a worse record than both they're out of the play in. I think they'll get in the play in but then if they stay in 9th or 10th 9th you have to beat the 10th seed at home and then beat the loser of 7th/8th on the road. If you're 10th you have to win two games on the road. Right now that would mean beating Warriors at home then beating Suns or Mavs on the road just to get in the playoffs.
