RS 23/24 - Mavs vs Jazz (830PMEST)
The Jazz are on their annual downfall after going on a crazy hot run a couple of months back (that included destroying Dallas).
Interestingly, the Mavs then play the Jazz again Monday in Utah and following night play the Kings.
Just cannot afford to blow games at this stage.

Sacramento won again, we absolutely need to win easy games like this.

I am scared. I feel like the Mavs have one more sluggish and unfocused games in them

I would be surprised if we win this 'easy' game...
Jazz always give us problem, not only we will probably lose this game, we could potentially face an ugly defeat too.
Jazz will win this by 26+ points.

And then play Kings again both in Sacramento but 3 days later. So they go to Utah then Sacramento the next night, then there's a two day gap and then play in Sacramento again? That's terrible scheduling. Why not just have the b2b be both games in Sacramento?

You're hired as NBA schedule maker.

Re: RS 23/24 - Mavs vs Jazz (830PMEST)
This is the nice part of the Mavs schedule, please do not drop a game today.
I am fine losing 1 and winning 1 against Kings due to B2B and away games. They'll schedule will get worse in April.
Also Pelicans will face a tougher stretch soon.
Thunder-Bucks-Celtics-Suns-Magic in a row. This stretch can drop them closer to Mavs. They can easily lose 3-4 here.
Then they have last 3 games of Kings, GSW, LAL. I presume all those games will be important for seeding. They can easily lose 1-2 here. Pelicans can easily lose 6 of the tougher games in the remaining schedule. Finishing the season with 32 losses.
We have 2 Kings, 2 GSW, 1 Heat, 1 OKC games as tougher ones. OKC may not need the last game for seeding purposes. Mavs are good against GSW. Neither Heat nor Kings are top-seed teams. Out of 6 harder games, we can get out with 2 losses. Mavs finishing the season with 31-32 losses is possible.

The next 2 weeks will decide where we end in the standings and it starts tonight. I hope we came out strong tonight. And I hope we put PJ on Clarkson. Can't watch Clarkson go off again like in the past.

Two questions I have, is Luka's shooting rhythm being hurt by the fact that he's not dribbling into his shot as much anymore? At what point do we move PJ Washington out that corner if he keep misses those 3s? Is it a problem yet?

Not even joking when i say i'm absolutely shocked how bad THJ has become. One good game out of 5 doesn't even make him a 20 mpg player anymore.
