Not gonna lie, it’s hard to top 11 points on 3/3 from the field and 3/3 from deep.

In his last 2 appearances Jordan is shooting 7/7 from both the field and deep. He is also 2/2 from the free throw line. That is an average of 11.5 points on 100% shooting. Hard to top that ;)

Plus really solid defense (hustle and effort), plus he controls the game, pushes pace and take care of the ball

Jesus, whoever is his shooting coach renew that guys contract ASAP. Its insane how good he is shooting now.

Maybe the same guy who coaches Naz Reid? Naz quick shot release and proficiency on 3s are insane too for that volume.

Well, first, he plays now in different situation. Almost all his threes are wide open shots now. Second, he is healthy.

It is more than that. For years he was wide open and not able to shoot this consistently. I think he knew this was his last real chance in the league and worked his *** off. Just like NAW last year. It is amazing what desperation and work ethic can do for a player.

Health is allways key. But past years Jmac was seen as non shooter and opponents weren't that eager to close on him? Half daring him to shoot on open corner 3s?

I don't think its the looks, he has genuinely improved his jumper significantly final months of the season. Its been consistent enough to not just be seen as hot streak anymore.

His defending improved too, he fighting for minutes in playoffs, and ultimately for his next contract and to stay in the league..

Read on Twitter

Went back to McLaughlin’s rookie year clips to try and find the first Naz-JMac pick and roll, and got distracted because I can’t believe this was the 2019-20 team. Yes, this was a tanking team, and it got them Ant. Very good. But this is the 2nd quarter of the NINTH game of the season.

This is what the four players on the floor here with JMac shot from 3 that season…
Graham: 24.1% (20/83)
Okogie: 26.6% (41/154)
Culver: 29.9% (66/221)
Dieng: 38.3% (46/120)

This team came a long way in the JMac years.
