He's on pace for over 16 pts 8 reb 4 assists 4 steals and 2 blocks and he's "invisible". Sure.

Plus his defence looks alright too.

Whoah, stats! Watch the game. He's barely noticeable against a tiny front line with no rim protection. No wonder you had to make a new account. lol

I'm watching the game. Do I need to flag you again for making up nonsense about a "new account" and get the mods involved?

He seems like a safe pick. Like a sure fire 10 year career player. That's pretty good to get. Not sure how high he should go. And when I check mock drafts they are all over the place this year.

Not a big fan. He's a stretch-4/5 with an inconsistent three. Maybe I'm biased but I've consistently not been high on Flip.

Yeah he'll need to get that three going. If he does that's a player we could use. How's his mid range shot? Love me some bigs who can shoot the mid range shot.

He is nasty enough to be like Zach Collins I suppose. But for every prospect I like to think about how are they going to get an advantage over their competition (e.g., are they bigger, stronger, faster, smarter, more skilled than most, etc)? This heuristic only really applies to if you're looking for a star player though. Role players can capitalize off advantages created by star players so they don't necessarily need an outlier tool or skill. I guess that's my roundabout way of saying I don't see a star.

I'm officially on the McCain bandwagon.

Could be the Tyrese Maxey of this draft. (i.e., future All-Star from a weak draft)

I posted a few days back about how I wanted to draft Jared McCain with the Indiana pick. Watching him shoot the lights out today is really cementing that opinion.

If he keeps playing like this he might be gone by the Pacers pick. :D
