Why would they need to take double the shots inside compared to any other team in the league, lol? Where did that come from?

Milwaukee takes fewer shots inside, and leads the league in FTA/g.

Pretty obvious, surely they aren't double in FTA just because they limit opponents shots inside. It's pretty obviously crooked especially when this has been going on two years in a row, let's not put the blinders on.

How are they "double in FTA"? You're completely misunderstanding this statistic, which is meaningless to begin with.

Differential is what Im talking about, it's ridiculous. No excuse, it's a play to get the Lakers in the playoffs. Get real

Like a team from LA getting a favorable whistle in the NBA is a crazy claim, what are you doing here?

It's a meaningless stat, and that aside you have no idea how to interpret it based on you suggesting "the Lakers would need to shoot twice as many shots inside". What connection do your FTA's have to do with your opponents FTA's? Almost none.

And I already explained to you why that differential is high, and literally has be high. You just ignored everything I said because it conflicts with your conspiracy theory, which you can't support at all.

Knicks fan while simultaneously an ignorant Lakers bootlicker, crazy. Yeah double FT differential can be explained away from the mediocre team in LA. Lol. Have a goodnight

This anomaly statistic has happened 2 seasons in a row now for the Lakers btw, please don't listen to this guy. It's the crooked league/refs. What he is saying can be true to an extent, but you can not justify the Lakers having double the FT ratio to any other team in any reality, that team is fighting for their playoff life. 2 season in a row

Statistics are annoying when the directly counter what you think to be true, huh? Lakers are 2nd in opponent FTA/g and 6th in FTA/g. There's nothing unreasonable about either of those position. But when you combine them together for no reason, people like you won't factor in anything besides that meaningless differential.

I'm not trying to change how you think man, I'm just befuddled a non-Lakers fan could think how you do. I'm just hoping I can save others from falling into your trap. It's crooked, no stats can make it make sense. Two seasons in a row by the way.

DOUBLE the FT differential of any team in the league, middling seed, 2 seasons in a row. Conveniently placed in LA, nah.

Well the stats *do* make it make sense, you're just ignoring them. But yes, if you're not interested in discussing statistics on the topic of...let me check...a stastitic, then I'm wasting my time.

Double. LA. 9th seed. 2 seasons in a row. You decide. Have a good night friend!

Decide what? I'm just looking at the numbers. You just want to believe the stories in your own head instead. Different styles, that's all.

But the numbers don't equate to reality my guy, you can't justify it with numbers. It doesn't come close to adding up. It's disgusting. Keep living in your odd reality though. It's the Los Angeles Lakers, everybody knows what's going on besides you.

They do. But you're just ignoring them. Break down offense and defense.

Offense: Lakers take fewer threes than anyone. They're among the leaders in attempts coming in the paint. You don't even need to know that, you can see it in how they play.

Defense: They give up more open threes than almost anyone. It's a deliberate strategy/trade-off on their part to minimize opponent FTA at the expense of giving them open looks. Again though, you can see that when they play

Their FTA/g are reasonable. Their opponent FTA/g are reasonable. I'm trying to actually discuss the ins and outs here (i swear that used to be a thing on here). You refuse to and just want to keep screaming what you believe is true.

It's double the Ft ratio 2 seasons in a row for a team in LA, you're dense. I'm done.

If facts disappoint you, perhaps some self-analysis would be beneficial.

These people are emotionally invested in the lakers failure. This is a coping mechanism as it appears the lakers are guaranteed the play in and could possibly only need 1 win to get in.

Let em have it. It makes em feel better.

The league has been shameless for 2 years

The famous “sleepless nights” tweet was the closest thing to whistleblowing the refs union felt they could get away with when the league sent them the memo. Big organizations don’t just publicly say stuff like that just to say it. It’s not going to change any time soon but it doesn’t matter, it takes all this just keep that garbage team afloat, they can’t hold up their end of the bargain for the other 100 points they’ll have to score on their own outside of the freebies

I was the only one actually presenting stats. Other guy just had insults in response. Lakers FT differential is explained so easily by how they play on each side of the ball. But once you get this idea that it's rigged, no facts will convince you otherwise.
