Is there any value there? I don't see any at all...

Williams and Micic are decent players, both can start without hurting a team. Then there is savings. I'm not sure what gets added, but there is probably a value gap - though I doubt it's that much.

We're not doing this though. You have to see why this doesn't fit Miami. We trade the best player for...just okay guys? That's not what we do.

Besides Orlando, where is Herro a great fit?

Which realistically available player makes less than Herro that you would trade Herro and 16th Overall for?

Name 2 or 3 guys you'd want for Herro and '24 1st?

I'm only considering realistic options, not going wild and saying Lauri or anything like that, but this is the type of guy I'd target, and not all of them would get a first from me.

Myles Turner
John Collins (though I would not include anything else and might want seconds coming our way)
Maybe Julius Randle (though he would be way down on my list)
DFS (I wanted he and Dinwiddie for Herro and a first)
Maybe Portis

I'm not shooting for the world here, I just want someone who fits.

But then I suggested Herro and 16 for DFS and you didn't like it

Collins is not a target for Miami.

Would Collins be a target?

Would Collins be a target?

gom and I obviously disagree, here. That's going to happen in any fan base.

If we're assuming Martin and Highsmith are gone... Herro for Collins gets you below the first apron without involving 16.

I'd agree with you. Trading Towns for Herro/Jacquez would make the Wolves a much worse team. I really hope the new Minnesota owners want to try to contend rather than trading KAT just to save money.

If the Heat trades Herro and the 24 FRP, its not just to keep them below the 2nd apron but for a deal worth doin. Because what is the point of being below the 2nd apron and your team is bad than what we have with Herro??

If that deal happens, a third team is needed to take on Collins, unless Miami trade Rozier in a separate trade for a PF.

Herro for DFS is ok, but without the FRP.

I'd rather have Collins than DFS tbh. I know DFS is that Heat type of guy but I think Collins's offense could really help us.
