Maybe not. After the current coaches retire, we'll hire Scott Perry as POBO and he will recruit his grandson to play PG. That kid will be so good he will make Ryan Arcidiacono look like Michael F''ing Jordan.
Seriosuly, it all comes from the top. Leon didn't talk to us, he didn't defend himself when fans crapped all over him and laughed at the team, but he just kept seriously working with very competent people to create a team that has a future. Nothing lasts forever, and to stay strong, the next guy has to be good, also.
WTF is with Dolan? The Rangers are good. He opened the Sphere and made it the hottest thing in Vegas. He hired Leon, who's bringing the Knicks to the brink of contention. He hasn't run either team himself or tried to interfere.
Show me another billionaire who doesn't think he's the best at running everything... Cuban gave us Brunson and took our trash more than once... Mat Ishbia is showing us how to spend money and lose games, while the previous guy, Sarver, was "embattled"... Sterling out in LA seemed more interested in keeping his slaves in line and dating young girls than building a winning team... Even the Mets were bought out by Mr. Moneybags himself and look at the season they had. We had a billionaire former President and...
And there are so many more examples. Meanwhile, Dolan isn't even racist, he's doing what he should, and he's letting the professionals run the teams. There are a handful of very well run teams. Apparently, All-NBA owners/front offices are not very common.
