It's because the refs are looking to call the foul. It's because they're not held accountable for making calls like this.

Yeah, that's true.
But the next option is to stop watching the NBA.
Guess we'll just have to live it.

We have one.
He's just not at his full potential yet.
Lebron, Steph, and even MJ didn't get their first ring until they were 27 years old.
Check back in a few weeks because maybe our #1 will surprise you.

Just 10 years ago it was live with the calls.
Now the players and the coaches and probably their mothers have decided the reffing in the league is corrupt.
There have been at least two different instances of coaches going the **** off on the reffing this year.
Everyone knows what it is.

If you're talking about Tatum then perhaps it's time you accept that he hasn't shown even the slightest ability that he can be thet guy.
He's had multiple and multiple dozens of chances already.
For every 50 point playoff game he's had he's had how many where he passes the ball to Smart instead?
Tatum is soft. You hear it in his voice whenever he talks.

Doesn't matter.
Soft or not, we'll still be watching Celtic games for years to come.
It's just entertainment.
As long as I don't lose money watching the Celtics then it's fine.
The championship will come, we just have to wait for it.

Yes but tonight he hits two big ones. The first putting a team up by 3 at the end of the regulation, the other one in OT.Shak_Celts wrote:please! jb missed his other shots!Riverwalk2021 wrote:Brown showed he should be the one taking the final shot if you're gonna just iso in these situations. He's tougher, way more physical and can get to his spot a lot better than Tatum. I have done a 180 on Brown this season.

Gives you less heartache if it happens.
But on the flipside, it also won't be as gratifying when the Cs win because you know deep down you doubted the team you love.
Nah, it would still be just as satisfying honestly. Maybe even more satisfying. I enjoy being proven wrong in a positive way.
Great answer.
If all the posters here have your attitude then there will be very minimal negativity here.

Ahh. So the results don't matter. Just the entertainment.
Everything makes sense now.

As long as they generate wide open looks via ball movement, take those threes. Cs are shooting 42.5% from 3, making 16.6 per game. That combo of volume and accuracy has never been seen in league history. Lean on that. The numbers don't lie. We've had a higher chance of losing when we don't take as many threes. The fight for the margins mean less when our team is +11.4 pts better on threes. On good shooting nights, we're +30 pts on threes, hence the blowouts.
Not saying abandon the post or drives. Mismatches on those lead to easy points or fouls. Opponents doubling lead to defensive rotation and easier looks. Though teams that can defend us in isolation and don't resort to blitzing/doubling seem to give us trouble esp late in games.
Take threes. Make threes. Minimize the margin for error. Increase potential for blowout wins.
Having said that, we still need better offensive execution on last possession shots. Maybe Joe has 30 end-of-game plays waiting to be unleashed in the postseason (but I doubt it lol).
