This is why I'm not critical of coaching when a lot of it is player controlled. THIS was a badly coached 4th IMO. Mose should've challenged, no excuse for that really. I understand potentially losing it and all but at that point it's a 1 point game and worth the risk.

Isaac should've came back in for Ingles at 5 minutes too. I knew it would bite us and it immediately did with that 5 point swing because his dumb ass wanted to tap the ball out instead of putting any **** effort into anything besides passing.

Not the best coached game, but ultimately we have so many guys that are just wildly inconsistent day to day.

Fun game for sure. Bad decision making, turnovers, and missed free throws costing us

The Magic essentially going to school last 3 games against veteran teams. Getting lots of lumps, hopefully these young guys are learning from this.

First of all, I want Magic to finish Top 5 in the Eastern Conference

Secondly, I want them to do well in the first round. It is either Cleveland with Donovan Mitchell or NYK with Brunson. If we finish 5th seed. It is going to be very very tough.

what did he say? I flipped to another game out of disgust.

He thought he would lose the challenge and timeout so basically admitting he was scared to make that decision and wanted to preserve the timeout.

We clearly have terrible video assistants.

Sometimes you have to give props to the other team's superstars. KL was incredible.

We're putting up-and-comers against proven top 10 players. Our 2 young guys didnt rise to the occasion fully, as happens so often vs star power. Thats not unusual.

We had a chance to win. Mose has to call that challenge regardless. Just to keep the fire stoked in the team and the crowd roaring, if nothing else. Screw the TO.

Barnes was picked before Suggs and Franz

Indeed. But we all know the huge arguments between Raptor and Magic fans about who got the better player. It’s been referenced here a few times.

They made the correct pick. We didn’t make a great one. A good one. But they win the debate hands-down.

The playoff/play-in is going to be painful. We can sit and say that all these teams are giving us their best shot however that's what playoff basketball is. Do we have a best shot?

Inexcusable

Uhhh... outside of the 9 game winning streak they're 8-16 with Goga starting, and 8-14 with Black starting, whilst being 2-4 against good teams when they start...

They also had a bunch of other injuries like Franz, Isaac, Ingles, and Harris.

They would have to win 5 games minimum games to stay at 5.

According to basketball-reference playoff probabilities, we have a 3% chance of falling to 7th and 2% chance of getting 2nd.. so roughly the same thing of crazy outcomes on the high end and low end.

Winning any of the last three games would've put us roughly around 98% chance of making the playoffs outright, but we always wanna make it spicy.

He has to go. Just brutally low effort defensively and doesn't really look to shoot enough either.

The team was +6 with him on the court.

It's really not concerning IMO... They're losing to really good veteran teams. They're struggling to close against these sorts of teams which makes sense.
This rotation will be lucky to win 1 playoff game.

That’s not surprising if that’s the case. This is a young team learning how to play against veteran pressure when games matter. And we are still lacking some pieces, mainly 3pt shooting and guard scoring/pg play. We are not ready yet to compete against the top dogs but we are close.
