Thibs seemed pissed about the refs in his post game presser but bit his tongue. He just kept repeating “it’s a tough way to lose.” You know what that means in coach-speak.

Don’t want the loss to diminish Brunson’s performance. Absolute brilliance.

Refs were awful. Our bench was just as awful

Wemby is already a star. Just an incredible talent.

Try to ignore the trolls and get some rest. They feed on sadness and discontent. The team is performing about as well as can be expected with all of the injuries

• Pop earned a tech in the 4th after the Keldon flagrant elbow, and they gave him mad rope and never called it. We hit that tech FT and that could mean no OT

• Late in the 4th Brunson hit a layup where Jones clearly fouled him. No whistle, hence no and-1. If that play is called correctly then we likely win in regulation

• The jumpball violation call on Mitch was complete b.s.

Swallowing the whistle on JB’s make was another moment of BS

But it seems like the refs are in awe of the giraffe and think nobody can do anything to him without fouling him

It is lame

But the larger point is the Knicks get awful reffing — bias against them that is not gambling related — it is just bias

His hands are awful too, like what are we doing here? Some people didn't want KP over the summer cause he's injury prone, yet they stand by and watch as this man has missed 81 games the last two seasons, and just got hurt simply landing on the ground. I could see if this were some Embiid level player where you just gotta take the injuries cause everything else is so overwhelming, but we've past the point of this just being freak occurrences with his injuries and it should be obvious his ankle/feet can't handle the weight he's put on.

rookie mitch was a promising player. but he's been on the downhill since sham became his biggest fan. the sham plague is the worst since the bubonic plague.

He's got a nasty case of the shams, he spent all that first half talking about Ihart too, just nasty work all around.

He really sustained an injury just landing, we gotta trade him this offseason, there's no way we can have another season of him missing 50 games just cause he can't land without his whole foot exploding.

Mitch aged faster than Bogs. Thought that was impossible, but there it is. Taj looks more mobile.

Didn’t watch the game, and just saw the box score. How the heck did we lose to the god awful 56 loss Spurs?

We had no business being close — Jalen put the team on his back

7 offense rebounds in 19 minutes. I think he's going to thrive as a bench player. His hands still suck, but much of his misses were honestly timing things he'll get back. Wemby is a tough match up for anyone.

The KP comparisons were crazy, he is to KP what KD was to Rashard Lewis, just a massive leap forward on the evolutionary ladder.

We decided this was a game we would try to outscore our opponents in instead of playing hard nosed defense. Spurs got anything they wanted all game. We deserved to lose.

We need iHart healthy, and OG and Randle back to have any realistic shot at the ECF and Finals anyway. Otherwise, we’ll just enjoy entertaining basketball which is cool too.

Take the records out of it and we had an entertaining game minus some ref calls.

I feel a little sorry for Mitch to be honest and human for a moment

I’d be curious to know the backstory on his weight gain.. was it intentional?

He’s become a force in some ways since the weight but it still feels like a bad idea, injuries included

Knowing how much anxiety you have whenever Mitch jumps and has to come down brings me so much joy.

A game like this we miss Randle being able to go right through Wemby’s chest, or at the very least using his physicality to put some fouls on him.

We were tentative all game due to being shook of getting blocked by Wemby and the free throw disparity underscored that.

Alot of people felt like the Spurs got hard done by with the calls. Also it's a bit hard to feel too hard done by when Sochan went down. The lead was huge before he got hurt.

They needed Randle's offense, but they could have used him on defense as well. The best way to defend Wemby right now is to use your SF/PF to guard him, and you then put your C on Sochan and have them play off him. There aren't any C's in the league that can guard him on the perimeter, so using a smaller player is the best bet, and he isn't strong enough to post up big wings or 4s yet.

Randle or OG on Wemby, IHart on Sochan to help off of.
