nice win…Duke is legit

Playing really high level defense and they have multiple guys that can be big time shot makers. That is a hell of a combo in March. It’s not as smooth of a machine like what UCONN has. But damn I’m enjoying the ride haha.

Duke admin gonna love the applicant surge next year coupled with the Carolina promise type free tuition for NC/SC.

Yeah.. to me Proctor came up big doing the small stuff. However, to get through NC state, they better get big time contriubutions from McCain

Ya it was a tough matchup for McCain tonight. Houston is just so physical out on the perimeter and never lets anyone breath out there.

I feel pretty good about the State matchup. Duke crushed them by 15 the first matchup (within the last month) and when they lost to State when they’ve been on this run. They only lost by 5 (was down just 2 with 20 seconds to go) and that game was that close with Roach/Proctor/McCain combining to shoot just 25% that game.

I have faith that at least one of those 3 step it up on Sunday.

We will see. If a Guard gets hot during the tourney is when a team is most dangerous. You really need Rpach or Proctor to get hot if they out the clamps on McCain. Flip cant be the only one going off.

Ryan can " probably" guard Burns one-on-one so the D doesnt collapse.

Also, is this a UNC fans worst nightmare? A state or Duke matchup for the final four?

UConn. Clearly. Purdue can give them a game though.

The difference between ACC tournament and now is Filipowski played physical against Houston. He usually shies away from banging but this is the first time I've seen him not be intimated by physical play. I think he grew up last night. That makes Duke more formidable now.

Hey, don't talk about big white C's...Schief and Hall are great. Clemson to win it all! Purdue looking really good though...then there is UConn of course.

They have Clemson at 40-1 odds. I'd love to put $25 on them for a chance at $1K. I can be fine without $25 but $1K would be nice. I didn't like Purdue that much coming in, but at this point I like their odds too...+750. Not as big of payoff obviously but fairly likely. Tennessee is +800 and I like Purdue a lot more. I'd probably put down a couple of bets if you could bet in Texas. Damn religious politics. If only the Texas wild west could see us now...they'd be turning in their graves. Can't by liquor past 9 or on Sundays either. Not that I drink anymore, but when I moved in the midwest I thought that was absurd.

Clark should be able to get into the paint at will in this one looking at it early. Defender just isn't big enough.

Also, they need to run Burns off the floor. Can't they do what the NBA is doing and hunting Burns on mismatches? lol I know its easier said than done but if the 3 guards of Duke can shoot from outside, they can win it against NCState

Illinois needs to try to get Clingan in foul trouble.
