The late game execution problem is legit.

But it's not all on Joe, like what you keep saying.

There are many players but there is one head coach.. The head coach has to step up like a captain of the ship.. Again for the one millionth time, why bother having a head coach at all then?

Cuz Tatum got the ball behind the 3 point line which is Joe's favorite play that generates horrible Tatum shots and no plays for others. Nothing better than seeing that ran like 5 times in a row...when he struggles to get by guys all the time then the shot clock is winding down they don't even have to play defense..

Because what you're not understanding is a lot of times the coach gives them instructions and the players simply don't follow the instructions.

The players and the coaches will never admit that publicly.

If the Cs have a losing record or just a .500 team then players doing their own thing, like in Brad Stevens' last year of coaching, will be magnified.

Brad lost the locker room, that's why he had to resign.

Right now the coach and the players have a good relationship.
The offense is also one of the best in history.
So the late game execution will just come in due time.

Like I keep saying, next year is the year the Cs will have the highest chance of winning.

The players and the coach will be better next year.
