A freshman doing this to a senior is incredible. He’s going to be very good in the NBA for a long time

That's not quite what I meant, but that too.

These tournament games are really souring me on like all prospects playing in them. :-?

Maybe go GLeague and International? I think Risacher is my #1 with the others after, who knows. He might be like French Tatum.

Freshman Jarin Stevenson of Alabama is until 18 until October!!! Flashes of at least being as good as Jalen Smith.

With Koloko out of the picture, I think Masai may consider drafting him.

Olynyk can be the backup 4.

.we definitely aren't taking him at 6, and he won't be there at the Pacers pick

He can easily be taken at 6.

I honestly don't see much separation, if at all, between the 6th best and 15th best prospect in this draft.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

Personally I’m not that high on either of Edey or Clingan as it appears most of this board is so I’m gonna very interested to see how both of them do next year considering the hype here…

Mark Sears helps lead Alabama to the Final 4! Really like this kid's game. Very Vanvleet-esque.

23 points 3reb 2ast 1stl 7-14 from deep including the dagger.

I think I mentioned him earlier in the year as someone to look out for next year because he's uber talented but it's taken him some time to get comfortable. Check out his high school highlights cause he's got wing skills in a PF body. Not sure whether he ultimately becomes a tall wing like Jaden McDaniels or more of a stretch 4 like Jarin Jackson.

I saw that video and didn't include it since there was zero defense being played. Though he could be a 6'11 version of GG Jackson.

Clingan looks like he has knock knees and generally a weak and awkward lower body. Would be scared to draft a guy that big with that body composition who already has injury concerns.

Clingan is going to be a good player but I see him having injuries. His body's ailment looks off, he looks very heavy for his age and I don't see him getting lighter at the next level. If he's available at 17 I would take him despite those issues. I really want Reed but it doesn't look like he'll be available at 6th. I would go for Castle in that case and develop his shooting ability.

Risacher
Reed
Castle

This would be my top 6 draft board in terms of BPA.

All real concerns. Don’t forget he is going to have access to top notch trainers and dietitian/nutritionists and the time/money as a pro to properly follow their routines and advice.

I think Clingon can be Zubac with better interior defense which would be great given the archetype of some of the leagues best players.

I’d love to get a rim protector with some more heft and size compared to Poeltl

Could Suggs be a good comp for Castle? Suggs has been elite on the defensive end this year and he's slowly developing his shot too

Suggs was actually an average outside shooter. I think now Killian Hayes might be a comp for Castle. EVERYONE knew that the Pistons should've drafted Tyrese Haliburton. Also when they passed, the Knicks should've drafted Hali.

Similar players, Clingan's the discount version.

If Carrington is going back to Pitt, and the Raptors would like a safe pick, maybe draft Tristan DaSilva with #31. He looks like a do everything Detlef Schremp. Maybe an Ersan Ilyasova with better handles? I guess DaSilva is the senior version of Johnny Furphy if he reached his full potential in college, 3 years later.

What if Cody Williams, Tristan DaSilva and KJ Simpson were drafted? :o

Really though, he looks like Pascal that can shoot 40% 3-pointers. He looks more advanced than Pascal coming into the league I would be fine taking him with the Pacers pick. It would be like how Utah replaced Gobert with Walker Kessler plus 1st picks.

Walker Kessler was a better archetype and had far better projectable stats than Clingan. If you think Clingan is past his injuries and they slowed him down and made him look worse than I can see him being a fringe lottery pick in this draft. Otherwise he's a very poor man's Kessler.

He did have his day on court and he was locked up by Castle. Didn't you see the game?
