Most shocking thing I ever heard on the internet. You also claimed that you understood because your father was an activist (not you though).
If you are going to choose to post about yourself to try to increase your credibility on issues, I think that you made that fair game. This sounded like “I was in the neighborhood, so I have expertise.”
I want to address this now that I have time, and to illustrate the fallacy of your memory, and the inanity of your argument.
First of all, I don’t even know what “the police shootings” even refers to. The topic at-hand was unlawful police profiling. My experience was as a driver of a BMW 535i with tinted windows and brand new rims (because I needed new tires, but my rims were European sized, hence new American-sized rims were purchased to fit the only tires that were compatible—tiny American ones). I was pulled over in that vehicle constantly. Often multiple times per month. On more than one occasion, when I rolled my window down to talk to the police, they would see I was white and not even ask me for my license or registration and tell me to have a good day. I found that reprehensible. My perspective was that unlawful police profiling is very common in North Minneapolis, where I lived.
Anyone who twists that experience into “this person claims to understand black experience,” does not have integrity. Perhaps you support unlawful police profiling?
Finally, I can’t believe that on realgm, personal and false accusations stemming from something that was posted over 10 years ago on a different message board are being made instead of talking about basketball-related topics!!!!

Rein it in, please. My goodness.
