The pre-game coverage was ACTUAL basketball breakdowns. It was incredible. I never thought ESPN could do it.

For sure. They are outsized, but Iowa is hitting from outside so far. Gonna be a great game. Both teams look ready after a shaky LSU start.

Clarke getting swarmed and LSU owning the passing lanes. I like the gameplan and it is working really well.

Yes Edey will be a challenge for Burns AND NC State on both ends. This is college ball where size rules. Burns is more mobile than Edey, better feet and Burns can spin away from Edey easily. NC State showed some interesting sets to get Burns some freedom against Duke so that he's not crowded in the 2nd half and they're going to need some more of that to give them a chance. Keats is an under-rated coach. They have some nice little sets in their half court which is how they've beat all the different schemes other coaches have come up. They won one game where Burns scored only 4 points.

On the defensive end Burns will get help from Diarra defending Edey. Edey can be crowded. NC State's guards can contain Purdue's guards. I like NC State's guards better.

Clearly Purdue should be favored. But NC State has the tools to give problems to Purdue. People have underestimated this team all along despite seeing them play and it behooves me. The only bad match up for NC State in this tournament is UConn. (and maybe Bama. Bama's tempo can give them problems for Burns who can't run up and down all game but there's a way to disrupt that and Keats is smart enough to know how to slow them down).

she's coming back in. Even without her LSU is still way bigger inside. They could have a bigger lead bullying Iowa inside but they haven't been as effective.
