How Come We're Never On ESPN?

Crappy teams like the Rangers and Padres can get on Sunday Night Baseball but never us, why?

I'm starting to think ESPN really hates Toronto...

The Jays may never be on Sunday night baseball but I saw some Jays games on ESPN last year. The Jays get on ESPN some times for the simple reason that they play the Yankees and Red Sox so often.

Padres won their division last year, and now have Greg Maddux, a HOFer.

one word ratings
a typical american
wants to see 2 american teams go at it
instead of one canadian and one american
that would split the numbers
unless
the bluejays are 13-0
or they got a homerun record goin witha player
then they got to show the jays
otherwise
theres no reason to show them

why do all of your posts
have to be
on at least
5 different
lines?

ESPN is an american station.

American teams = more ratings. The goal of a television show is ratings to generate advertising revenue.

Come on people...common sense here

The Blue Jays used to make an appearance on Sunday night baseball in the past. It's just been the past 2-4 years that i haven't seen them there.

The Jays only have on sunday night game this season, against the Royals so that's their only hope of getting on SNB.

I think the problem is not only ratings, but also scheduling. The Jays always play sunday home games at 1pm. if they were to have a Jays/Yankees game at like 7pm, I'm sure ESPN would pick it up.
