Re: Game 76: Sixers v Thunder : Potato Home
Just watched it, really fun win. Great to see the big fella back, and I guess Nick isn't going to 'work' him back into the rotation - 30 minutes! This is not a fluke with Oubre, the guy shows up with the money on the table and isn't afraid of the big moment.
Oh, and is it possible to please leave Tobias off the floor during 4th quarters?

I just don't understand why Oubre doesn't pass the ball more often
He passes not because its the right play, but he’s a passer who passes because he can’t get his shot off

Oubre should have run the two man game with Biid, when Lowry runs it, Biid has a hard time getting the ball in his spot.
If Tobi has to space the floor, he has to be at the right corner.

Re: Game 76: Sixers v Thunder : Potato Home
The Sixers needed a warm-up game for Embiid, which they created by declaring him out until just 90 minutes before game time. This led to OKC sitting out their two best players, SGA and Jalen Williams, anticipating that Embiid wouldn't play.
I don't understand why Nurse chose to start Payne and Lowry in the game, as Hield probably should have started with Payne as Lowry's backup.
The Batum-Oubre-Tobi trio continues to perform well when paired with Embiid.
In the end, OKC had a really good chance to win it, as they were up big before the late stages of the game. Isaiah Joe had several open 3-point attempts to tie the game.

Great to see Embiid back. If they win their last 6, they have a chance to finish 6th. Thursday is must win though.
I still think Oubre stinks and wouldn't re-sign him, but he's playing well so kudos to him.

Amazing game from Oubre again, he is the soul of this team!
As for Embiid, his mobility is like 50% of what it was two months ago, safe to say his knees are shot.

You can see Embiid taking bad shots in crunch time, unfortunately not much has changed.

Bummer, I saw there were new comments and thought..."Hey...cool...we can talk Sixers basketball." Sadly all the comments were from Bum.

I have already emailed Daryl Morey about trading him as soon as we have the opportunity.
