I really am perplexed by it.

He is terrible and he's not going to be back next season. I'm at a loss as to why he's playing. I guess they trust his ball handling? But that isn't enough to justify even a single minute.

The other dirty secret is that Fultz is an actively bad defender at anything that isn't playing a passing lane and getting a steal (which does has some value).

Magic fans get so mad when national media rip Paolo. Their criticism have merit. His efficiency around the rim is terrible for how big he is and his shot selection and turnovers are piling up. He has a lot of work to do to lead this team to anything.
