Time for Thibs to act like he care about Precious and Bojan now lol, Josh Hart playing 48 mins a game. I’m good…

Then I’m up here defending Knicks while everyone say. “Something always go wrong”
“It’s the Knicks”

Welp, they were right. Can’t trust Thibs and now we got major injuries to key players.

They were up 15 with over 4 minutes to go. Were they likely to win? Sure... but in today's NBA against a formidable opponent that is in no way an insurmountable lead. Miami still had their starters in. Blame Jaime Jaquez for making a stupid play while Julius was already in the air more than Thibs

The minutes police are the worst.

Thank you for saving me the time. Blaming Thibs for this is completely asinine.

Knowing nothing about shoulder injuries of this nature, I initially thought holding out hope that he could rehab the injury and get back without surgery. Once I learned more about it from listening to former players and doctors, I was of the opinion he should've got the surgery ASAP to ensure he's back 100% by next season. So I'm not as disappointed as others because this seemed like an inevitability. Obviously, we're not going to go as far as we would with him, but I'm super excited for next season with a fully healthy (hopefully) team from the start. We're going to be a really deep team and who knows what moves we'll make this offseason. Get well soon, Randle. We need you.

I swear people love making chit up to fit their narrative...

This was the play

Read on Twitter

4:30 left in the game. Were they likely to hold that lead? Yes... but as long as Miami had their starters in you can't pull your guys in that scenario.

Thibs definitely leaves guys in too long for my liking sometimes but, this wasn't one of those times.

That’s a 17 point lead with 4.5 minutes to go …
I would still not be playing these guys all those minutes. Either way, Thibs is not the guy for the job. And even when they all come back healthy next season, someone else will get injured

Based off Hart's comments the other day. Julius probably address the team b4 we got the news. Remember how the team reacted to Mitch b4 we knew he was gonna be out for months

Shoulders are tough and slow to heal. No doubt Randle did everything he could to get back. Long term just have to get it taken care of and hopefully he can come back 100% next year. We all know he'll put in the work to come back

The positive is that it's not his shooting arm long-term. While your guide arm is important, the shooting motion could really be effected by something like this if it was in his shooting shoulder.

It’s usually a 5-6 month surgery and recovery process. Putting him to return at the start of next year

Get well soon. I’m not mad at him. He gave it a shot, made his decision. Randle not the type to sit out unnecessarily.

Having gotten a partial knee replacement, unless it's a catastrophic injury and there's a possibility that PT will work, most orthopedic doctors will opt to try non-surgical treatments first. Obviously, it's difficult for us to tell without all the medical details and an ortho digesting them and explaining it to us. I'm sure Julius had the best medical care. I bet they also asked him what he preferred and we all know that he'd do anything to get back onto the court after all the success the team was having with OG when healthy. It was fun.

Next year is our year.

He tried and couldn't do it, I had a feeling this was going to happen. It was worth a shot since surgery would have finished his season either way. I hope he heals up, this has to be frustrating for him because he was in beast mode before he went down. The league needs to ban what Vasquez did, those charge baiting plays are dangerous and now an All NBA player has been lost for the season because of it.

It's a let down for sure, hopefully OG can give it a go. Otherwise, it sucks that critical injuries derailed what was an amazing season.

Is Thibs to blame for this specific injury? Probably not.

But it's not a coincidence that nearly the entire lineup is hurt.

Give bojan minutes
Precious too

Brunson, deuce
Divo, bogie
Hart, (maybe burks??)
OG, precious
ihart, Mitch

We have to roll with that 9-10 man rotation in the playoffs. Not enough to win. Maybe can win a round. I doubt it

Exactly this
You can’t burn the whole lineup out so early in the season
If they’re playing heavy minutes ,35-40 in January when you have a bench, then we can never win under him

It’s a marathon. 82 games. The focus is the playoffs. Not the regular season. Get in. Be healthy. Win when it counts. Ramp up the last 20 games of the season
