I would prefer the Pacers even if we know Nesmith's gonna be on a personal revenge tour.

Yeah want no part of Philly in the first round, that’s unnecessarily hard for that early of a matchup. Ideally we get the Pacers and Philly goes to Milwaukee

Chile please, I'm ready for any team, forget the ducking and dodging! If we're the best we'll beat the rest!

I had the Sixers and Celtics meeting in the east finals back in November.

Sixers are dangerous.

I want the NBA title. I don't care if we beat four G-League teams on the way there. Give me the easiest road.

Of course I'll take the easiest road, but these are opinions, no one knows what the easiest road would/will be! People thought Miami would be easy last season for the Bucks and then us, but Miami ended up in the finals! I prefer to believe we can beat anybody, bring it on, especially since I don't know who would be easier to face, no one does! Everyone thought Hawks would get swept, even the players apparently, and we struggled to end their season.

The Clippers are cooked. How things can change quick. They were poised to be one of the toughest contenders just two months ago.

I wonder where Paul George is going in FA. Hope we can sign him for the minimum.

I agree.

Facing a tough team in the 1st rnd is a risk because instead of a short series, it could go 6 or 7 games.

Risk of injury rises and it bangs up the players.

we went 6 with the hawks last season. How many people thought they would be a tough team?

Yes they do, up by 4 at the half against Nuggets.

Pity, I would have considered him for the minimum.

Talking about falling behind early in this game but also this, bigger picture wise...

I knew what you meant, I just found it funny because you also stated how quickly things change and they did in this game.

But bigger picture, if they are playing this poorly not sure I want PG13 at the minimum stinking it up. Maybe if he gave half of it to Luke...

I think it was more the Cs underwhelming than the Hawks being tough.

Game threads of that Hawks series had quite a few unhappy Celtic fans.

the point is, when you think it will be easy, the outcome may not match. I acknowledge the players thought they didn't have to max effort and it screwed them, that same walk in the park had them tired later on against Mia. Who knows, maybe if they faced a "tougher opponent" they would have naturally brought their A game and ended that series earlier. You just never know, I say just take whoever's in front of you mentality and hope they treat everybody like a prime opponent. When the playoffs turn up the heat, maybe it turns out Embiid isn't the tough beat people think he will be. Maybe the tougher opponent is a team full of young guys who lay everything on the line and push their way through a first round upset. they may not go further than the second round but it's not crazy to think they could play good enough to take four games from anybody, especially a team who expects to just win because of who they are. I'm not saying that will be us, I'm just saying it's not out of the realm of possibility for any of the top teams. Again, look at what Miami did, they barely made it through the play-in but ended up in the finals. If they worry about one team, they could overlook a sleeper. someone already brought up our sweeping of the feared nets, it doesn't matter how close the games were, people were ducking and dodging and we swept them right out of there!

It's weird for me to root for an LA team but here we are.

Come on Clips

BEAT DEN-VER, BEAT DEN-VER (really want that number 1 regular season seed)

??

We already clinched the #1 record in entire NBA. Doesn’t matter what other teams do.

Only reason to root against Denver is so they don’t get the #1 seed in West and won’t get HCA in potential WCF.

Nobody here talking about how Spo, considered the best coach today, didn't call timeout when the Heat got the rebound with 27 secs remaining and the Sixers leading by 2.

Heat ended up losing the game after they couldn't get a good shot off.

Should've called timeout, right?
